I lived in Front Royal and visited Patsy’s Grace many times. Her husband was still alive when I moved away. The Omps funeral home wasn’t built there either. That came along after I left. It’s a beautiful, peaceful garden, the best one in the area. RIP PATSY, forever remembered.

Very respectful video. Thankyou for sharing. Patsy Cline has been forever remembered as an icon of Country music. We must not forget Cowboy Copas and Hawkshaw Hawkins along with their manager Randy Hughes all perished together in that terrible plane crash. Ironically, the same instructor pilot that taught Randy Hughes how to fly also had taught Country music legend Jim Reeves how to fly. Both Randy and Jim were never instrument rated, yet they both flew into instrument meteorological conditions, which resulted in spatial disorientation that had caused them both to crash. May they all rest in peace.

Thank You for your kind and insightful comments. I agree we must not forget those who died with Patsy. Cowboy Copas, Hawkshaw Hawkins and Ramsey Hughes are are resting on Music Row at the Forest Law Memorial Park in Goodlettesville, Tennessee. I visited their graves in this video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/n4bXlZqaa8aSY7c I also visited the crash site near Camden Tennessee and that Video can be found here kzbin.info/www/bejne/qWrcd5euqdV0o8k

Im very surprised she doesnt have a much bigger stone. She was the greatest of all time. And thats all she got fpr her final resting spot. Some of the other country singers have huge stones. Rip patsy

I am not sure but there may be a cemetery restriction on the type of markers. The other performers that were killed in the plane crash are all buried at Forest Lawn in Goodlettsville, Tennessee and have similar Markers. Thank You for watching and your Kind Comment.

I have not visited the Grave of Jim Reeves but would like too and is on my list if I ever get back to Texas. I did visit the grave of Tex Ritter and J. P. Richardson in an earlier visit to Texas and hop to get back some day. I hope you will check out my other videos that I have posted and will be posting of country music stars from my recent visit to the Nashville Area. Thank you so much for watching and for you kind comments.

Ok. When you started calling about Charlie, there were 2 whistles, one !oud, the other softer, as if the whistler were moving away. No way that was a bird!!!

You are right. It wasn't a bird. There was another person walking by me and he was trying to get the attention of his kids without "yelling at them, so he whistled." Thanks for watching.

Why is there coins on her grave stone
@tombstonesandtravel8805
@tombstonesandtravel8805 Жыл бұрын
Thank You for watching and for your question. A coin left on a headstone or at the grave site is meant as a message to the deceased soldier’s family that someone else has visited the grave to pay respect. It seems that this tradition has carried over to private graves. Here is the significance of each coin that are left at military graves. Leaving a penny at the grave means simply that you visited. Leaving a nickel indicates that you and the deceased trained at boot camp together. Leaving a dime means you served together in some capacity. Leaving a quarter at the grave, you are telling the family that you were with the soldier when they were killed
