that is bigger and better than just about any hotel room. I like the lesser stories . I do not want 15 stories high. Over the years, I never stayed at Pratumnak because I don't ride a motorbike and it is hard to get around easily up there without one. Fewer Baht buses, fewer moto taxis, etc, especially late at night. I typically preferred places off of Soi Bukhao. Easier to walk around and closer to shops, eateries, bars and just about anything else

I would Take an older Bigger room over the newest shoebox ANY day 👍 Good video I like the 1st one overlooking the garden. / Overlooking a pool can get quite noisy sometimes.

You get what you pay for. The view isn't the greatest, but cheap rent. Your videos are very informative and good.

We had an older condo in Soi 6 Pratumnak. It was 83 square metres and we paid 11,500 baht per month. We had a good pool, small gym, a restaurant and bar on site with heaps of parking for cars and bikes. Great location.

Good for a holiday for a few weeks but I work from home and would go a bit stir crazy cooped up in a studio style condo. I like having a separate bedroom. Still a great video though. I like seeing you get out and about and I’ll be back down in Jomtien next month.

I lived in a studio for a few years and hated cooking, eating and sleeping in the same room constantly. The smell of food is always in your bedroom. Separation of sleeping living is necessary for me.

You can find condos like this even with sea views along Jomtien and Dongtan Beach with beach access also, similar age and size for around 8 to 12,000bhat just have to do the leg work!

The second one was nice as it had a hallway from the front door. You don't see the whole apartment when you open the door.

Very nice and a good price also. I just wa nt my bedroom separate from living room. If you get up you have to make bed up before you have coffee. Last one i seen off yours it had half glass wall with curtains. and I don't mind that either. But the price is very affordable and a big place also

The older condos are better made and they have large hallways,solid brick walls between the condos and balconies that stop the heat cooking you in your condo,some of those new ones are like glass hot houses,they look nice with all the bells and whistles but the gloss fades and they are just small and hot and they all seem to have water leakage problems

It would be extremely helpful in your videos if you included how somebody could explore a particular area without having access to a motorbike. I'm too old to dude to learn how to ride a motorbike. Some of those lovely condos that you show always results and me asking myself is it doable without personal transportation. A future video covering out of the way places that are still available by bhat buses or by a reasonable walk would be appreciated.

For those prices and a pool, I just may have to head that way soon. 300 USD for a month rent. Good place for 90 days if I get my SETV 60 days plus 30 day extension which is my plan. I do qualify for a retirement OA or O visa and associated extensions, but will see how COVID policies shake out soon

Hello! I'm a long-time subscriber. I love your videos. I always watch your videos when I'm house hunting in Pattaya. You ask great questions. I appreciate that you always look for a lockbox because that's important to me. It would be great if you could tell us the firmness of the mattress, if the tv is a smart tv, and check the water pressure in the shower. These are things I don't know until I view the apartment in person, but it would be valuable information for people that are searching from outside of Thailand. Keep up the great work. Thanks!

Big older condos, say in Pratumnak are tempting. As long as the fire alarm and suppression systems are good. Wongamat condos with direct beach access is nice though and there are new condos there for not too much more.

Hey guys, As a retired newby, I am looking to come over to Pattaya on a first time COE for 90 days. Can anyone give me tips on 1. whether I can bring Canadian money and open a bank account? 2. Recommended condo to rent with ocean view, some light weight exercise area and pool. I just want to visit gents clubs, walk beach road, bj bar. Possibly, but I doubt it. It is very risky to pay up front for too much when in Thailand. Often, problems pop up, and then you are out the money, but did not get the service or goods you paid for.

no monthly charge, unless you want cleaning which they can arrange for various terms, weekly, twice a week etc. They will quote a price which is not too much, several hundred baht give or take.
