That's so cool that they even taught the importance of posture (for men, too, BTW). It's absolutely true, as I learned myself at a teen, and makes all the difference in how you look in your clothes. I love how she explained that the "professional look" is not bought ready made but can only come with bespoke (personally sewn) clothes. As much as home ec has been disparaged over the years I've come to realize just how much we all needed it - boys too! Nutrition used to be taught in that class as well.
