The two most important things I learned from this video was you can do a guide stitch for flat fell seams and that not both the outseam and inseam are supposed to be flat felled. I made a pattern for jeans from scratch and instead of looking at a sample or anything I was like, I remember what jeans look like, I can figure out how to construct them. Y'all, I did the inseam flat felled first and flat felling the outseam was literally the tunnel scene from willy wonkas chocolate factory. I succeeded but at what cost...been wanting to make more jeans and got some selvage denim, so I'm excited to try these pattern adjustments to make a selvage edge pair!
