Beautiful makes. You will be the best dressed woman at work tomorrow wearing that second top you showed us! That is a really becoming shirt style on you. And, I loved that first shirt with those tan (khaki) pants you held up. As always your craftsmanship is stellar. Thanks for taking the time to share these.

Great autumn outfits planned. They will look lovely together. Those blouses are really smart and will both go really well with the beige trousers.

YesJan, I realized I had the beige trousers after pictures were taken. I will take a few pictures with the pants to see the look. Thank you for your feedback.

As always, your selection of beautiful fabric matched to the appropriate pattern and your fantastic sewing skills has resulted in lovely garments! I do have to laugh when you described them as "quick makes," as it would take me forever to do just one blouse like these! I'm inspired by you!!!
@cookeka Жыл бұрын
Hi Mary, thank you for watching and providing feedback. I sometimes get inspiration while working on a project, and those colors were perfect for the color scheme. I say quick makes because compared to working on a blazer or a jacket, these are fairly quick. Thanks for watching.

More beautiful makes this week😊 You continue to provide inspiration to “ make all the things”. I’m currently working on missing pieces from my fall wardrobe and trying to decide on holiday looks. Have a great week!

Always loving your work. Have you thought about opening the side with a small split to give a little more room for the hip?

I appreciate the suggestion, Mary. I will try it. Thank you for watching.

I like how in planning your Fall wardrobe, you are selecting fabrics that you can mix and match. I think the faux suede jacket will be beautiful-- please be sure to show.

Yes, the color combination helps to easily coordinate with existing pieces I have made or already have. I will. Thanks for watching.

I, too, love that brown and white fabric but was so undecided on the final garment. This tiny collection of Fall colors just confirmed its purpose. Thank you so much for watching.

Hello Karon! Your sewing is wonderful and you put such detailed work on the inside of very garment you sew. Gorgeous blouses. Maybe split the sides on your first blouse, like already suggested to fit your hips better. Just an idea. The idea to make a deeper neck ruffle is a great idea too. Ruffles are so feminine. Gorgeous fabrics for all your makes too. Love seeing your vlogs. Take care, GigiW. (Aka Nancy. From northern Indiana.)

Hi Karon, Beautiful makes as always. On the button up did you make the collar stand wider? If so how much did you increase it? The collar really pops up nicely. Can’t wait to see the biker/Moto jacket. I know it will be amazing. Thanks for sharing such beautiful makes.
@cookeka Жыл бұрын
Hello Jean, no. I did not adjust the collar stand. I used the stiffner on both the collar and collar stand instead of the usual interfacing. Thank you so much.
@lindakrol5376 Жыл бұрын
I have both of these patterns - you have given me the incentive to try both- wonder if you can do a continuous bias strip to cover the neckline instead of the facing - will need to try it with that pattern, 😊
