Consider this is a KZbin Content video. Alomomola is fantastic, but most viewers want to see "high octane battling", not "Mola sits on a team for 40 turns". In a serious competitive format I bet some choices would be different, but for a video like this, it makes sense to skip over Mola.

It's totally not what the Covert Cloak does, but Vinny is precious. It removes secondary effects of moves I think. It's a niche item and I wouldn't expect people to know what it does.

Pat questioning why pickpocket didnt work after popping the focus sash. Also i think the point in negative priority on toadscool is 1 to not have 100 base speed spore, but helps in a way since the first garunteed sleep turn is on the jext turn meaning that you have more opportunities to pick moves while they sleep. Not the biggest fan of the ability, but i hate the idea of 100 base speed spore more

Tournament-style videos are fun! Couple tournament ideas: - Catch and evolve tournament: Every person gets starts out with 2 random LC (Little Cup) pokémon. After each battle, the winner takes one of the opponents pokémon and evolves any of their pokémon (added pokémon can also be evolved). - All metronome tournament: Every pokémon gets the move metronome in one slot, and that's it. Pokémon selection method is up to you. Usually, to be fair, I recommend removing abilities by replacing them with Trace, Teravolt, or Mold Breaker.

Vinny's comment actually got me looking up Mycelium Might. And it's a tradeoff ability. It lowers your priority, but makes it so that a pokemon whose ability would normally let them ignore a status move (like Soundproof) can now be effected by those moves (Screech).

Two ideas: 1. Do this again but the unpicked pokemon goes to the next person in line. 2. Group the two sets of three in a A and B column, before the fight the player can choose to swap one column with their opponents, then the opponent can choose if they want to swap the other column as well leading to playing with pokemon you didn't build
