@@weston407 It was a mix of good and bad. Mostly I didnt like that the plot structure didnt really make sense. They spent a ton of screen time developing the nerd-girl dynamic and then they just abruptly dropped it so they could have the catfight scene and never got back to it.

Chadd Joutsen it would have been much better if it took a Clerks approach - a fictionalized version of the overall AVGN mythos we already knew - i know what james wanted to make though, a larger than life magnum opus movie, but as much as i can’t stand mike matei (he has anti-charisma and is just a massive obnoxious poser), it would have been cool to see a few of james’ buddies instead of webster or whatever his name was and that nerd girl

I am glad I still have mine. Would love to see more reviews on it with games like world court tennis and final lap twin. I still feel it's one of the most underrated systems of all time. I remember I got mine from toys r us for 50 bucks and they were packaging a mystery game along with Keith courage. I got final lap twin and the addiction began

It was hardly available here and most magazines didn't even bother discussing it. They preferred to talk about the Neo Geo; or refer to the Turbo Grafx as the PC Engine and only cover imports. You know, the kind of stuff the average magazine-reading kid was into.

The ship in Blazing Lazers is called the Gunhed because it was originally a movie tie-in with the Japanese movie GUNHED. Surprisingly enough, the original title of the game was GUNHED as well.

Denise clearly has good taste in great (yet expensive) Turbografx 16 games. Soldier Blade is one of the best games on the system and has arguably the best soundtrack for any title on it as well. And Magical Chase is just awesome in every way, and I am determined to own it one day.

I see someone didn't get past stage 5 when recording footage for legendary axe 2. Game is crazy tough after stage 4, and I've only ever made it to the boss of stage 6, but I absolutely love it. Probably my favorite game in my collection so far for the TG16. And yes, this video made me want to get it

hi pat, just wondering since I'll have this problem soon, what do you do once you've collected ALL the games for the system of your choice (mine are snes and N64). I'm a few away from the N64 european library completion and strangely quite scared. I was going to start colllecting US and Jap (and any bizarre bootlegs which are few and far between). What did you do after completing the turbo grafx? did you focus on another? or am I being silly and should just sit and play the damn games?
