I’ve lived in Minnesota over 6 decades and have great memories of Paul Bunyan Land. It was always a bit tacky, even when I was a child. I couldn’t figure out how he knew my name - it was years before I realized my parents had given it when we entered.

In Oregon there's a place called Trees of Mystery that I'd love to see Jacob visit. In front stands a talking, waving Paul Bunyan. He's friggin huge and a bit imposing but always funny and sweet.

Memories! Way Back in the 60s my family would spend summers fishing and visiting local attractions here. My fondest memories. They had dancing chickens, duck piano players and a bunny that would kiss a plastic bunny. I looked so forward to this place. Love Paul. Was amazed he knew me & my sisters name! They have taken great care of him for nearly 50 years! They moved the park years ago & over time have rebuilt it. A very fun place for kids even though the attractions are old. They are nicely cared for. There were no mass shootings then. You could safely ride your bike or play outdoors. ( sigh). Thanks Jacob! Lots of wonderful memories here! ❤️😂 I live in Texas but love Minnesota. Pristine lakes, excellent fishing! A lovely state to visit in summer. Most everything closes Labor day.

When I was a kid I went to Paul Bunyan land with a bunch of girls from the girl scout troup i was in at that time. I must have been only 8 the last time I was here. I was so freaked out that he knew my name and everything that was going on. There used to be HUGE lines leading to meet him too. Just crazy. What a trip! I'll have to go there again this summer for myself

Lots of great memories!! We frequented the original Paul Bunyan land every summer growing up, many many times!! He always knew our names, and as we got older, maybe too old we would tease him by saying, "why can't you wave over your head?!" He always had a great explanation 😊 many things are gone, but many they saved! So cool to see! And ps. The chickens were awesome, and talented!

There were real live chickens in those machines! I used to play tic-tac-toe with the chicken all the time when I was little. For reference, I’m 26, so it probably was about 20 years ago. I absolutely loved seeing you go to Paul Bunyan Land. Gave me such warm and happy memories of childhood ❤️

I suspect the reason for having the smaller structures is so that you could have the perspective of Paul Bunyan walking among normal human buildings. Of course, then having larger things messes up the perspective. Perhaps they could have a section with just the smaller buildings so people could understand the scale difference. That would go well with the railroad being smaller. Anyway, that's just my opinion. Great video as always. I very much enjoy Jacob's adventures to places. It allows many of us to see places we may normally never experience on our own.

Dang Jacob, I was worried that you sprained your ankle when you fell. Good to see that didn't happen. They could always replace the live chickens with animatronic ones. Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum has a robotic Tic Tac Toe chicken game, they could probably find something similar.
