I grew up in the 80s but home was filled with the songs of Cliff, ABBA, the Bee Gees, Boney M, Glen Campbell, et al, because of my father. He's a year younger than you. Wow. You did sound like Cliff Richard. It would have been brill to be your friend. A close friend died a few months ago. Zainal Danial Abidin of the Dukes. Did you know him? He converted to Christianity donkey's years ago. If you did knew him, if you bump into him, say hi to him for me, will ya? I missed him loads. He did not say goodbye to me when he left. That hurt a lot.

I support our local singers because early past year , till today I only had memories of them. I know life is not forever and I miss them. Our local 1980 we are not rich to had such a good entertainment, but they bring us some enjoy song. Thank you very much. We not forgotten them

Reflection, Paul you had been an inspiration, motivating and most of all invigorating to many. 'Sometimes when we touch, especially through the frequency, vibrations of your "PAULsating" song and music, it is time to say PAUL, have a great rest in ETERNITY. I once (with many others) suffered through his singing at a pub called Woodstock at Far East Plaza. He went on stage and sang "Route 66" by the Stones and he actually forgot the lines! Did he hum it through, NO! Paul turned round and wiggled his arse for the audience.

Being unkind is where you've lost your singing talent and make it available to the public. Yes, everyone grows old so you must accept it but don't go to ridiculous extents of trying to look hip and young, Paul Cheong's obviously wearing a wig (badly), tattooed eyebrows it appears, wearing a wool knit glove on one hand and I'm sorry - can't sing that well. Of course it's saddening to hear about his death but... I wrote the initial comment a bit more than a year ago and 6 people whom I don't know of are in agreement with me. RIP Paul.
