I’m not even a huge Sex Pistols fan, what I love about this interview is just watching two mates who’ve known each other their whole lives. The bromance is real, their little digs at each other and inside jokes, the way Cookie says “I’ve been doing his laff all week”. I love it.

Cookie, what a great bloke. Ran into him early 80s, literally at a Portsmouth Chelsea game when it was going off, blues away game. Then played football against him in the 80s in the musicians league, was it Trident? What a modest, nice bloke.

What great guys. I met them in '82 in Seattle after they played their Astor Park show. Both Steve and Paul were very nice, very generous with their time, great guys to talk to. I will alway remember them.

Why is Jonesy talkin about Nigel Harrison and Michael des barre and not talking about Chequered Past??!! They toured with Billy Idol in 1983 and my sh!t local punk band 007 was the walk up/opener at the Del Mar Racetrack. I was also the little geeza that Billy told to get off the huge PA speaker stage right because I was dancing with myself whilst he sang "Dancing With Myself". Jonesy gave me a beer backstage and said " If I danced, Id done the same thing, old son."

The Fulham Greyhound pub where they went to watch rock bands is still there but its been derelict for a few years,....I wish some of the old punks who have done well for themselves would get together and save it as a live music venue.

These guys changed the music world back in the day....great they are such great mates:) And the Greyhound ....at 175 Fulham Palace Road....I worked and lived there pulling beers in '73 -'74 two bands a night 7 days a week...was awesome!! From the Heavy Metal Kids to Phil Linnot ....Traffic....Canned Heat....Man....etcetera etcetera :) So many great stories .....Peter Green used to come in every day on his way home at 4pm from digging ditches on the road to have a pint and we'd have a chat for halfa ....as it was super quiet at 4pm.....about 3 months in the Guvnenor of the Pub....Duncan Fergusson said to me ....you know who that is right ?? Me in total innocence says sure ....Its Peter works on the roads digging ditches, he asked me ....ever heard of Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac....he is that Peter Green....one of the best Guitarists of All time....was a little bit of a surprise to me :) Check him out here ....kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqrUXnmtbKhlbLs
