That's how you retire with class and being smart. The guy has nothing to prove by staying big into later life, and to see him skinny and healthy by fasting and taking care of himself is awesome. No judgement on those who still like to be big well into their 50's/60's, you do you, but at some point you just have to 'let it go' and focus on a long and happy life!

I was expecting them to respectfully ask Paul why he wasn't that good at posing (not just back double biceps but in general). Also was expecting Paul to explain in detail why he had trouble doing the bdb when they mentioned it. I've heard that he has asthma and had shoulder problems from playing football in Canada. I always assumed these things held him back somewhat but I could be wrong. But anyways great podcast as usual. Been waiting a long time to hear from the freakiest bodybuilder of the 90s.

I was at the Arnold Classic when Paul had the cramping issue. We were sitting in the same row as Flex Wheeler and Shawn Ray. When Paul locked up Flex was yelling "Fight it baby, fight it". If Paul wouldn't have had issues he would have won the show. It was scary when they carried a locked up Paul off stage.

Great Podcast. Great to see Paul Dillett on the show, it's been a long time coming. I've always considered the '90s the golden age of bodybuilding because the quality and presentation of physiques were head and shoulders above what we see today. I don't know whether it's the increase use of drugs or simply the sport has just lost its way, but either way the IFBB needs to get the sport back to a place where we're seeing and judging athletes on balance of size, muscularity, and symmetry. I do agree with Dennis that we knew the top 10 placings at the 90s Olympia because the physiques were so good. Nowadays it hard to remember the placings after 4th! You guys are great. Keep up the great work, and try to have more 90s bodybuilders on the podcast because I like to here the stories.

I'll never forget seeing him in Gold's Venice walking in spandex a couple weeks before that Arnold Classic he was absolutely skinned!
