I went to both home games for DAWGS/gaters in the 90’s during the renovations to prepare for the Jags. It’s NOT the same. I’ve been going to Jax since I was a teenager. And I’m old now🐾🏈🐾

I think the SEC divides up again keep 8 out of 9 SEC games in your division. Then you will be sure to have everyone play the same schedule but for one game. Clearly, reanalyze every three years as to quality content of each division

How do u add a 9th SEC game? Here’s how - it doesn’t affect or have anything to do with Labor Day. They would just replace a non-conference game with a conference game. I don’t know y the timeline of when you start a season week 0 or week 1 would make any difference on all this. We will be having 2 bye weeks this season and that is good. Changing a game won’t do anything. It will just mean more money and depending on how that goes, it could go back to a 8 game schedule. I wonder if the CFP will stay at 12 teams or move to 14 and stay at 14?! Let’s c what happens with the CFP.

I'm not a fan of a 9 game schedule for either the acc or sec because of the cross rival matchups. It would likely end cross conference games like Georgia vs Clemson or Alabama vs Southern Cal.

9th game should be a semi final for top 4 trams. High seed home game. Then throw out some interesting matchups. Either a 5 seed v EZ win. Or 5 v 6 to get that extra team into playoffs. Still have an SEC championship but change the game by creating a mini playoff like they did with being the first to create conference championship. This extra game then wont hurt a loser and help a 5 or 6th team being chosen. Just think of the chaos next 2 years if you have 4 teams capable of being in SEC 2 game champion. 1 loss team and three 2 loss teams. Any combo could lead to this problem. As it stands you kinds hope to be 3rd SEC team. 1 less game then loser of championship game. Still or even more likely to get a home game in playoffs and id imagine they seed like do in basketball to keep conference teams from playing each other til final 4

Why don't we have divisions again and have bama and auburn moved to the east so that solves us playing aub every yr and tenn bama every year and have 2 teams from the west that either rotate or 1 permanent and 1 rotating opponent only teams they wouldnt want that be florida lsu I just don't see why we don't have divisions and go to a 9 game slate in the sec
