Yes. Self can’t get out of self. If I think, and I often do, I am self, no escape is possible. As Paul says, “you can’t escape an imaginary place”

51:33 oh Miranda, boy did I need your message today. I SO needed to hear that I have a “loving friend who accepts the action figure completely.” I’m a bit of an outsider in AA too. 9 years and my fellowship consists mostly ONLY in meetings. Very little if at all outside the rooms. It’s so lonely. Paul and zen bitchslap for the last 5 years had been instrumental in helping me feel a part of. I’m not interested in much of the socializing either. I’m a bit of a loner too. I totally understand “not getting it” despite several peak experiences and moments sublime. I don’t know but thank you thank you thank you ❤️‍🩹
