Paul Hornsby Remembers Eddie Hinton

Eddie Hinton played in the Five Men-Its with Paul Hornsby and Johnny Sandlin before becoming a session musician in Muscle Shoals. Duane Allman & Hinton were roommates before the formation of the Allman Brothers. According to stories told by Paul Hornsby, Hinton was an eccentric person to say the least. He recorded several albums including one for Capricorn Records and he was an influence to many including the Drive-By Truckers, who wrote a song about him.
