Agreed Rachel. I felt disgusted and ashamed at the racism dealt out to this amazing young man, who's only been a person to be proud of throughout his life. On and off the field. No wonder his Mum is proud of him. Credit to her for making him the wonderful man he is. I can't wait to see the documentary. And as usual, Paul and Dan have done a beautiful job with this lovely tribute to Adam. I call out racism every time. The only way to stop it! Thank you Adam for who you are!

@@rachelee73 Racism is the worst form of abuse I believe. It diminishes people, it makes them sick. One more reason why the suicide rate in FN people is so high, and why their life expectancy is ten years behind the rest of the community. We all should have the right to be proud of our heritage, particularly one as amazing as FN people. We should promote and be proud of such history. Education is the key. As a non FN person I accepted that growing up in the 50's/60's without non racist education that I could be racist. The idea horrified me, so I educated myself about the history etc and determined to speak out always. It's just too hideous for anyone to have to live it. I'm in awe of how people like Adam still goes on with a positive and kind heart to all.

Still disgusted to this day how Goodsey was treated at the end of what was an amazing career, one of greatest AFL footballers of all time and deserved more respect than he received at the end of his career.
@shanegooding48395 жыл бұрын
Always hated how some 'fans' can't enjoy footy without abusing players. The situation with Goodes was even more infuriating because it was such appalling behavior toward such a good bloke. Anyone who thinks it's okay to behave this way towards another human being on or off a footy field is an idiot.
@LockoRockoFTW5 жыл бұрын
@I Know All being escorted out of a football ground by MCG security guards isn't being arrested. But keep kidding yourself if it soothes your fragile sensibilities you mongoloid. He even publicly stated after the event that the media should have some decency and not vilify her.
@LockoRockoFTW5 жыл бұрын
@I Know All once again, not arrested, keep changing your story though, I like a developing narrative. Also the actions of the police are irrelevant to Adam Goodes, he didn't take her to a police station, they did. Keep attempting to blame this on him if your snowflake insecurities have been offended though, I'm sure it'll make you feel better!!!!
@LockoRockoFTW5 жыл бұрын
@I Know All he called her out on a racial slur. In reality his involvement ended there, not like your fantastical way of explaining events. You seem surprised that her saying racist things led to her being treated like a racist, fancy a guess why?

Paul Kelly is a magician Dan sultan if anyone has seen him on rockwiz knows so much about music and past really obscure musicians too Not to mention being a total freak talent himself Let’s remember it was only a generation ago we did this to the custodians of this land the great aboriginal people 70,000 year old DNA you can’t beat it My best mate is Torres Strait and told me the reason Cathy freeman, Adam Goodes, Mal meninga Greg Inglis are so incredibly good is cause they are from the genes of people who were fast enough to get away from being shot. It’s shouldn’t be reconciliation (you can’t say sorry for what we did) it should be celebration cause the country doesn’t know just how great these people are. My mate mick is a software engineer only indigenous person to graduate in Australia but he’s better than me at nearly everything Pain in ass haha Become proper friends with even one indigenous person and you’ll a lot of wonderful stuff and you’ll agree celebration they are incredible
