This is good, but in my opinion it proves that David Gold was just unique. He was the only one that could give with his voice the pure sadness and emotion that this song have. We miss you, Dave.

Every song in this album touched the hearts of the bands playing the songs. It doesn't really matter, obviously no one can sing like him or write music like he did... but he was huge for the doom metal scene and influenced a lot of people. David would be smiling if he wasn't resting. To think that one of every song he made touched at least one soul.. that's powerful. I don't think they intended to really sound identical to him
