The sad thing is that we've regressed back to this time in WWE. Pritchard and Johnny Ace are back and up to their old tricks, ruining the product for anyone watching. And if you give a damn, they either job you out or take you off the card for weeks and sometimes months. And sometimes they simply label you hard to work with and then fire you, like Keith Lee or Killer Kross. It's no wonder Sasha Banks walked out last week. She's been a fan since she was a kid, she's not going to put up with this shit. And the rest of the roster is split into two halves and it's obvious to anyone watching. One half don't want to ruffle feathers because they've worked a decade or more to get there, and the other half doesn't care as long as they get paid. Anyone actually passionate has ether gotten fired or is trying to leave.

I've seen a few of Paul's interviews and the dude has some great stories but if you somehow rub the majority of the locker room the wrong way INCLUDING Undertaker I personally think there had to have been some if not a little attitude problems with him. Hearing him talk about the WWE is like hearing a recruit who got weeded out of the army. If you dont jive with the locker room culture the company will weed you out, either the brass or your colleagues.

Undertaker is a HORRIBLE person to measure that off of. He got annoyed or had an issue with everyone at one point it seems, which has to be the case if you’re the “judge of Wrestler’s Court” smh.

That’s gotta be a weird Vince moment where he decided something crazy like “no top rope moves”. And realized that’s insane two days later.

I can understand Vinces point to a sense but Paul London hit that move with perfection better than anyone I’ve ever seen do it. For that reason, he should’ve been allowed to do it. What made it even funnier was at the same time he disallowed London’s finisher he was still allowing chair shots with blatant disregard throughout matches and I can remember plenty of matches with them. and we all know that lead to serious CTE. And yet that wasn’t more obvious to worry about? That’s just blows my mind about Vince

Paul was always underrated!!, Dean is a wrestler not an agent and he should have never been!

Wow Paul sounds very bitter. I can understand though.
@LunaticReason11 ай бұрын
I can partly understand not wanting London to do the move for safety reasons but its not like there werenr other wrestlers doing similarily dangerous moves so it seema like a bullshit reason. From a business aspect I can sorta see why. It seems that Vince wasnt a fan of the high flying crusierweight style. I remember most of my favorite Wrestlers were cruiserweights but it felt like they never got pushed or sidelined and then the divison eventually disappeared or got sidelined. As cool and exciting as it may be the one problem with high flying cruiserweights is longevity and its easier to book a safe boring match for their champions than have them risk injury to themselves or others. The funny thing now is its pretty much the fad for most wrestlers to do crazy spots at the expense of good ring psychology/storytelling. Another possibly of not wanting him to do it was actually knowing how much it would put him over with the fans and not wanting to push London.

I mean, as much hate as Vince (rightfully) gets, I feel like I can at least see where he was coming from this time - safety should and ALWAYS SHOULD come first inside that ring. Am I wrong 🤷🏻♂️?

If they don’t want you to get over, and you’re trying to get yourself over, then you have an attitude problem. It’s just too offensive to Vince’s ego.

Kidman has the worst shooting star press ever & he the 1st guy I ever seen do it. it's like he gives up in the middle of performing the move. Half-ass flipping. Brock got hurt doing it, but at least he didn't hurt his opponents with it.

Big long winded story and doesn't even tell us what the ending to it was! Went into vinces office he told me not to do it, i said bla bla bla then he asked do you want us to make an exception for u? And doesn't tell us what he said back, only what he thought at the time. Wanted to know how he left the office, did he say no i don't or yes i do want u to make an exception and then what happened?

I know this wont be popular. But i think seeing people perform moves like that does encourage others to try and people do get injured. Thats not Pauls fault and were i in his shoes i would have felt the same way. Weve seen equipment failures. Things can get slippery or any number of things.
