In my mind I see The Beatles singing in black, and white on the Ed Sullivan Show. I love the harmonica. This makes me think of John Lennon.

I was 6 yrs old when the Beatles came on the Ed Sullivan show and I still love them. My age? 61 yrs young because the BEATLES TAUGHT ME ROCK N ROLL BABY and I haven't forgotten it for a single second! I ONLY wish that I had the money to go see Paul McCartney next May when he comes to Raleigh, NC! This man still has it, the energy, the voice, the love of rock n roll and it shows when he's onstage singing his heart and soul out! For those who didn't grow up listening to the Beatles like I did, and can't appreciate the love that is shown through their music and the music that Paul McCartney still writes today, then I feel really sorry for you! And, yep, you betcha I still love classic rock just as much as I love the music that's around today. Just remember one thing, without bands like the Beatles, just where do you think that rock music would be today, especially the British rock cuz they brought it over to the USA, way before the Rolling Stones did. Do your homework online and look at how many songs have been written by Lennon/McCartney and Lennon/McCartney/Harrison/Starr Cuz we sure can't leave out Ringo Starr and George Harrison either! These guys created so much magic in the world of rock n roll that it's still living on and will carry on beyond their lifetime and mine, also.

I've always been a Beatles fan, always. I have most of their albums. I still love the music. So much of it thank goodness. I'm glad Paul is still around and performing but he is not the Beatles, and unfortunately they will never be again of course. For whatever the reason, his voice didn't sound very strong to me on this video, maybe it was just my laptop, lol.

Well, in an interview Lennon said he didn't want to be permorming songs like "Love Me Do" when he would be older... "i did that when i was 25, i dont want to be doing the same things now that im 30+, its just natural, i dont want to be performing songs like "Love Me Do" when im 50 or 60, it wouldn't make sense in fact" And here we are with the most commercial of the four doing exactly that with almost 70 (or even more? almost 80?) hahaha You can see by his performance on stage John was kind of right :,) It looks really strange... Plus You can barely feel the life in this singing.. Oh man :,)

It’s never good to see time catch up with the old masters. Seeing Muhammad Ali getting battered by Larry Holmes then Trevor Berbick. To watch Steve Ovett trail in, way down the field in the late ‘80’s. When it has gone, it’s over. And seriously, Macca’s voice has lost its tone and power. Sorry to say it but this does not sound good.
@pamelawilliams90436 жыл бұрын
John Charlton well don't listen to him if you don't like the way that he sounds! I wish I had the money to take my daughters to go see Paul McCartney when he comes to Raleigh, NC next May. There's plenty of us fans who would love to listen to Paul McCartney sing than some of the junk that's on the radio, today!

Pamela Williams If money is tight, you’d be better off buying some Beatles music and having a night out watching a Beatles tribute, you’d still save a bunch of money. Makes me laugh how ‘fans’ can deny their own ears and part with hard earned cash to listen to washed up septuagenarians (eg Macca, Stones, Fleetwood MAC etc).
