I saw him on this tour. I was most impressed by how he punctuated the performance with interesting stories such as this one. He is a great musician and a great showman.

A pal of mine worked at a West End theatre in London where Paul rehearsed for a major tour years ago. He'd not toured live for a long time or with that band ever and so he rehearsed for a few weeks. So basically my pal was paid to go to work and to watch Paul Mccartney playing live in a little West End theatre for a few weeks. I was so envious.

It’s unbelievable how timeless the Beatles songs are. Listen to the other top musical acts and hit songs of 1965 (the year this song was released). You can’t say the same for the others. George Martin is responsible for the modern sound of the Beatles.

Flew to Perth with my daughter to see Paul in Perth on this tour. Remember the story he told of developing the song and then adding lyrics. Brilliant musician, one of so many magical Beatles songs. So lucky to have seen him perform live twice in my life and to have been brought up exposed to such great melodies and songs. I have no musical talents at all however, but how may people come anywhere close to anything he has done. . Thanks for posting.

Paul still sings great, just not the way he used to. If he didn't try to emulate his younger self on the higher register notes, we could truly appreciate how beautifully he can still sing. Different, but still a great singer.
