Paul Potts is the ultimate success story of someone who has got an amazing talent and in ten years in public eyes became a household name in crossover operatic scene. What a wonderful voice he has got, and the attitude which makes him a very likable performer not only for his singing quality, but also for who he is as a person …. despite his success he is humble and down to earth person. That's what in my world epitomise greatness.

I don't like opera either until I listen to this guy. Then wondering what was different I checked out other opera singers. Arrogance with noises in the air. Attitudes of superiority that's it . Paul Pott has none of those attributes. His whole attitude is humble, down to earth and on the same level with his audience. I like this guy's singing, it is relaxing and peaceful.

@@littleme3597 No, it's arrogance. All one has to do is read or listen to "true opera officienados" to understand the contempt they hold for Paul, Jonathon & Charlotte and/or other "amateurs" who "try" to sing opera. Paul certainly isn't in the same class as Paveroti, but on the other hand how many non-opera or even opera haters listen to Paveroti?
