​@@Tonetare back in the 90's he was caught in a porn theater "exposing himself", which I mean come on, it was an adult theater for crying out loud, what else do people do in there other than take care of business if you know what I mean. I thought that was dumb, but back then stuff like that could ruin your career. Then in 2002 he was convicted of possession of child porn, but it was found to not be true, it was art that he had and because it was vintage, it was undetermined whether the nude figures were above the age of 18 or not. It was basically a witch hunt.

Here are the FACTS (and spoiler alert, he did not plead guilty to child porn): The district attorney looked at Reubens' collection (of over 70,000 items of kitsch memorabilia) and computer and found no grounds for bringing any felony charges against him, while the city attorney, Rocky Delgadillo, formally charged Reubens on the last day allowed by statute. Reubens was represented by Hollywood criminal defense lawyer Blair Berk. In December, he pleaded not guilty through Berk. In March 2004, child pornography charges were dropped in exchange for Reubens's guilty plea to a lesser misdemeanor obscenity charge. For the next three years, he was required to register his address with the sheriff's office, and he could not be in the company of minors without the permission of their parent or legal guardian.
