This is the first time I have listened to Brother Guzik's teaching on Galatians. Its interesting to hear another perspective on a given subject like the Judaizers, usually I listen to a commentator from a Messianic Jewish background. Helpful to compare and contrast to get the full picture. Thank you Brother Guzik.

I finished the entire series of Galatians that is on the Playlist. Very edifying, especially at the thought of legalism returning through false prophets. We have been in a long season of licentious preaching (sloppy agape). There will be a return of legalism as things get more turbulent and terrible in an immoral society. Thanks David very enlightening as a former RC, a question, could it be said this is where the RC church was formed from, misinterpretation of the scripture?

Pastor Lance replies - The development of the RC church as we see it today was a very long process - stretched over several hundred years. One might say that the RC church became what it is when it said that it was the teaching magisterium (Pope, cardinals, bishops, priests) that defined what Christian had to believe and do, rather than the Bible. Since then, the real authority in the RC church lies in the priesthood, not the Scripture.
