Interesting. Just the other day I heard a colleague co-worker comment that there will definitely be a market for plug-in hybrids for a while, since many people are still concerned about the limited range of EVs (battery capacity/size limitation), along with the slow proliferation of charging stations, fast-charging technology, etc. The total transition to a complete EV fleet might take decades, and in the meantime the plug-in hybrids seem to be the most reasonable option/deal, I guess.

I just love everything about the new GlE coupe. Excellent technology and I love the shark nose looking head lights and the triangular looking tale lights, they are just superbly gorgeous!!!!!

A really interesting video, it flowed well and Paul did a great job presenting too I thought. The technology just keeps getting better and better, where will it end. "Hey mercedes, what is the weather like in London today?" "Today it will be partly cloudy...." no change there then lol. Airmatic suspension is pretty cool :) Over 100kms in electric mode; a great step forward

Great car, I have even ordered one, but British buyers beware, you get the options that Mercedes allow, which is not necessarily what you want. For example, I wanted my 350de with a HUD. Mercedes says no! I wanted different wheels. Mercedes says no! The list goes on. Or rather it doesn't. You can have 3 packs and that's it. If only Mercedes were an industry where they gave the customers what they want rather than telling us what they will let us have. Sorry for the whinge but Mercedes as a company are so disappointing me so far. To end on a high. The car comes in 4 months and I simply cannot wait. I am a frugal driver and I am relishing the challenge to see if I can manage 100km (62 miles) on a single charge. I wait for a truly unbiassed review (Which naturally Mercedes clearly aren't) of the cars actual range. So excited! I may even upload a you tube video myself to show the range in the "real world"

As i have a 50km commute to work , i would like to see if i can do the full journey in electric. i understand that there is enough range from the battery but i also would like to understand about the car performance on electric only, hence my question on the 0-60 on pure electric ...thank you again !
