"Verily verily I say unto you, he that believeth on me hath everlasting life" (John 6:47), "Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned grace but of dept. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justified the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness" (Romans 4:4-5) Do not get fooled people, I have many unsaved friends and family members, and they all have the "works". The sign of being a real christian is, if you do not depend your conversion on yourselve. Even the heathen do that, what are you special?

This guy is obsessed with "evidence of salvation." If anyone believes that Jesus Christ died for their sins and rose from the dead he or she is saved, justified, glorified, and seated with Christ in the heavenlies. The Holy Spirit is a pledge given to us that God will keep his promises. It is not hard to be saved at all. It is a once and for all done deal. If we look to our works for "evidence" we will doubt because we are imperfect.

Unfortunately he is a Calvinist.. A "saved* person must persevere otherwise he is not saved at all regardless of you having faith in the gospel..

There has to be evidence of salvation. When you're born again, God literally transforms you into a different person with a new heart. If the transformation hasn't happened and you say 'I believe', you're not saved

@@inessamardzic9409 It's better to rely on this: "But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe." Don't rely on your works as evidence. They won't come near 0.000001% of God's sinless perfection.

@@inessamardzic9409 if you are looking for an evidence or proof that you are saved? You are not really saved, you're sneaking good works into it. Let God do the good works in you're life, Salvation is God's righteousness for a reason not man's.. Faith is the only means for salvation. How much enough evidence is ENOUGH for me to say that im saved, I HONESTLY CAN'T SAY, I'm unworthy, will never be worthy!! My comfort is that eternal life is HIS promise to those who PUT ALL THEIR HOPE OF SALVATION in HIS SON, He will never break HIS promise. A lot of people is doing **evidence** this days, it all came down to your heart, do you have a heart that seeks to please HIM? Do you feel guilty of not meditating HIS word in one day ? its the indwelling Holy Spirit convicting you for His GOOD WORKS. Or you are looking **evidence** in your faith, because if you do, you are sneaking good works to it for completion.

Guys, of course you can not rely on your works, you will still sin, even after salvation. I'm not talking about works. Transformation means being given a new nature, new desires, new heart, new mind, new existance. By all means you are a new creature after salvation. God makes you His child and you receive the Holy Spirit. These are not works, but a supernatural change done by God on a person. Now, the same person absolutely won't act, speak, dress, think in the same way not because they restrain themselves but because of the new nature they have. There are millions and millions of individuals that would say they're saved if you asked them, but a few people really are. When i was younger, i thought all people that say they're Christians must be Christians, why wouldn't they be if they believe? That is why it is written:the demons believe and they still tremble. When James says : 'For the body without Spirit is dead, faith without works is dead also' he is talking about fruit of the Holy Spirit, not you trying to be a better person by pleasing God. Ps no I don't feel quilty when not meditating on God's word for a day? That is human-made crap I have him in my heart leading the way

Washer is a Pharisee that is blind to the Gospel and hates the clear fact that people are saved by faith alone in the cross. Pretty ironic that he points to John 3:16 but complicates the text with works based nonsense. There is a huge difference between the Great White Throne Judgment for unbelievers and the Bema Seat Judgment for believes. I hope one day Washer will humble himself and receive Jesus by faith like a child.

You obviously haven’t listened to many of his sermons. What he is saying here is that basically if you’ve been transformed you can’t help but be changed…not that a saved man no longer sins…the difference is does that man repent of his sins and strive to no longer live in it. This will show! “By their works you will know them”…not by their works they are saved…. You can’t separate the two and you misunderstand his message by your own preconceived notions. Be blessed
