Also if your tomato is too small, I slice them in quarters and lay in circle, put the salad on top. Looks yummy Miss Paula❤

Looks delicious. You could also use Tuna Salad to stuff a tomato or Cottage Cheese

Great idea as a wrap! That way the lettuce will actually get eaten too! Not wasted. The way Paula did it in and on the tomato and lettuce is so “1970’s wasteful”!

This brings me back 45 years ago when chicken salad stuffed tomatoes was a special lunch my mother in law and I enjoyed together. A beefsteak tomato, picked fresh from the vine, still warm from the sun, stuffed with a simply made chicken salad. I still love a good old fashioned chicken salad instead of most types these days made with grapes and pecans added. Doesn’t get any better than this, Miss Paula. I have a GREAT recipe for STUFFED TOMATOES too Paula. Wash your tomatoes and core them. Also pull out all seeds. Take equal parts bread crumbs ( your choice) and salad oil, add your seasoning of choice (I use Italian) mix together until saturated - and fill your tomato with the mixture. Sprinkle them with white cheese of your choice, more seasoning and boil until the cheese turns brown. You have got to try this - it's so delicious that we eat it all year long 😊🙂😊

You can use cherry tomatoes and make appetizers with them, usually have to take a thin slice off the bottom to get them to stand up right. Made a bunch for a wedding reception with cherry tomatoes and everybody and their sister wanted them like that for their gathering. I like to put chicken, garlic powder, green onions, pecans, mayo, salt and pepper, sometimes will add grapes.
