Viewers: FYI for those that didn’t know, you can freeze bananas in their peelings, until your ready to use them in baking, smoothies, etc., the peels will get dark brown, but the bananas themselves stay exactly as when you put them in the freezer.

RedRoseSeptember22 Ok...I guess the people I’ve seen dying from it (true CORONA deaths, not someone getting shot or having a heart attack and happening to test positive for it cause that doesn’t count). Maybe you think watching people die basically from asphyxiation is a hoax, but it’s not. However, feel free to think what you want. It’s still barely America. I don’t happen to have a problem with people living their lives (because it doesn’t effect 99.2% of the country enough to even have to get admitted to the hospital for it). If you’re scared or compromised, stay home. Let other people get their lives/livelihoods back if they still can. However, I said what I said and it’s true: unless those people all lived with her before March, she’s not quarantining.🤷🏻‍♀️ Now I will STFU. 😘

I just made chicken and dumplings, and I even made the broth, for it,my kids and my husband are getting spoiled! I love it! But flour is hard to get out in California, but as luck would have it, it works perfectly for dumplings, and I made it up as I went. 2 cups self rinsing flour half cup milk and herb seasoning mix knead it ,but I did add butter to it some room Temple, throw it on top, I cooked mine 12 minutes, because mine were larger! So fun and easy!

Thank you for helping us all keep busy while we have been quarantined. You have saved my sanity. You are such a fun person. Love the way you give us tips while your are cooking too. My husband is in heaven because I have been making so many of your recipes. We had Not your mama's banana pudding yesterday. I sent that recipe to all my girlfriends who said they were jealous because it looked so delicious. We dropped off a couple pieces of it to my mother in law who is in a senior citizen living community and who just loved it too. There was one lady who has been diagnosed with the Covid 19 virus. We are so scared that she might get this horrible virus too. She has dinner brought to her from the facility but NOT your mama's banana pudding. So happy to get to know you through your generosity of cooking for us and with us thru this horrible horrible time. It really has made my life something to look forward too. What will you be cooking tomorrow. I am also going to make your corn casserole. But today I am making the banana bread recipe. I am not a good cook. I wish I was. I am mostly known for burning food. Ha Ha. But now watching you cook I feel like I there is hope for me. Love Love Love you Paula. If we live thru this I plan to come to Charleston and eat at one of your resturants. I am 70 years old with a pacemaker and defibulator and a stent in my heart. I feel like if I get this virus I will be one of the ones who will die. You make like fun as it can be for now. God Bless and keep you safe for all of us.

We warm our banana bread and then put on Butter Pecan Ice Cream. My recipe calls for Pecans. Freeze those old bananas in the peel. Take out and thaw a few minutes and then squash them by hand. Easy to do this bread. ✌🏻❤

I wonder if we could make French Toast out of that? or the leftovers if there were any. Ha! Looks good Boo, might have to make some of that today.

Though I bet the flavor would be delicious, I think it'd be very very difficult to make french toast out of banana bread because banana bread is extremely moist. French toast has to start with dry bread to absorb the custard and then still hold up or you'll just end up with french goop.

I havemade french toast with my banana recipe and it's almost identical to Paula eccept it didn't include the raisins, I'm sure those would add more flavors. I'm definitely make it this weekend.

A local restaurant we eat at serves French toast made from banana bread and it is delicious but heavy. I prefer regular French toast because I can eat more of it before feeling full!

Miss Paula, I prefer these videos MORE than the network shows. There is no skipping out on the 'How to' part on your KZbin channel. I love how on here you get to show the not so easy skills of getting the batter into the pan, the spraying of the pan down. After making shows for so long it's easy to forget some of out here are still learning the basics. So keep up the KZbin it's more helpful than a fast paced cooking show on some fancy network with too many commercials.

Hoping it continues, I've loved each and every single one you've done so far and can't wait for more! Bless your heart for thinking of all of us in this time of quarantine... Hugs honey!

I just made this recipe two days ago and it is so delicious, I made another this morning! I can smell the yummy goodness wafting from my oven now! I used dry blueberries instead of raisins. My son and I love it! So, to cut down on the time, I'm going to measure up the dry ingredients and bag it up. When ready for the next bake, I'll just have to add the wet ingredients. So, I can impress my next overnight guests with little effort! Oh! Oven is calling! Thanks, Paula

Banana Bread: Two cups bisquick, three table spoons sugar, one cup plus warm beer, crushed pecans, one/two mashed bananas, banana flavoring (optional). Bake in muffin tin. Be sure your butter is soft so as to melt quickly on the hot bread. Mix second batch as the first will be gone very quickly.

Mmmm love me some nana bread. I take the bananas from the freezer, and put in a micro safe bowl to thaw on 30% power for 2-3 mins until juice is released. Remove bananas leave juice behind, and put in small sauce pan over med low until reduced by half. The concentrated juice really ups the flavor of the bread. Going to make some today.
