Paul, I know you're very busy, but I think it is extremely important that you get the Rodeo streetworthy, have it inspected, and drive it through town. Be sure to film the expressions on the faces of the mechanics and people on the street when you drive by. You should wear the plaid sportcoat for even more "shock" value.

I have been meaning to add a comment for some time, but I watch most of your videos on fire tv. I find your presentations to be my favorite for education about firearms. They may not always be the most entertaining, but they are by far, in my opinion, the most qualified, unbiased, and informative that I have found on youtube. I find your sense of humor to be much like cake and ice cream, wonderful and enjoyable when offered as well as more appreciable as they are not something that is constantly "on the menu. I would go so far as to call it heartwarming when someone who is primarily serious and informative reveals that he does not take himself too seriously. Your style is in stark contrast to the majority of what I find on this platform. Your presentations are rational and well supported whereas so much of what I see is opinionated , biased andirrational. Long before I watched your FAQ revealing what your credentials actually are, I could easily tell that you are indeed tremendously knowledgeable and experienced in this field. The fact that you are so unassuming, religiously rational (scientific is a bit overused, I feel) makes it plain to me that you are of much greater intellectual capacity than so many "firearms experts". I may not be buying any tickets for your standup comedy tour, but when I want well-researched, unbiased presentations about firearms, I will not be watching Jeff Foxworthy either.I thank you for your presentations and sharing your acumen and experience in this field.

The most interesting of the Le High Defence bullets in one called the Xtreme Defender. What makes this projectile work is very high velocity. I have used it with great success in Hog hunting. I load 95 grain Xtreme Defenders in 9x23 Winchester brass pushed to 1700 FPS, my gunsmith loads it in a 9x25 Dillon (Glock based) at 2000 FPS Since the bullet design is both velocity dependent and bullet Diameter limited on its power we both wonder what it could do in a 460 Rowland, for example. BTY: They are coming out with a 444 Marlin hunting load and a 12 ga slug version for hunting this year. Cheers, love your show.

I think the thing to take into consideration with this ammo is that conventional JHP's might not expand after passing through said barriers or they will get horribly deformed and under penetrate as well as the risk for bullet deviation. Traditional FMJ would in this scenario be considered more ideal by many, but the wounding characteristics of FMJ are often quite lacking. I feel it does perform as advertised when shooting it through barriers and in general it doesnt do any worse than FMJ in terms of penetration through barriers but it still provides a better wound cavity. I've found this ammunition depending on the caliber can be greatly utilized in pistol caliber carbines when wanting a "barrier blind" round that produces good wound cavities. Frankly, I feel this may have been a better test for 9mm as in my personal experience as well as a lot of field data shows .40 S&W is a better performer on hard barriers as is, thus it may seem slightly less prolific when comparing .40 S&W JHP's to this stuff as a result. And while some might disagree with that fact, there is a lot of information out there that shows and suggests to the contrary. Though, the Xtreme Penetrator rounds are fairly costly so for testing purposes you take what you can get. I also think it's real value would show in smaller calibers like .380 ACP or the Xtreme Cavitator of the .32 ACP round when used in similar tests.

Like the new intro, especially the clip with the plaid jacket. I started laughing when the rounds started going through the same hole. Especially after you said you moved the meat target forward purposely to prevent that. This ammo seems like it has limited purpose, mainly in states or localities that ban hollowpoints (New Jersey i think? and maybe somewhere else). Even here in Kalifornia we can use any hollowpoint we can get. We are limited to buying from dealers now. No more mail or online ordering. So the boutique rounds like Underwood and Buffalo Bore will be harder to find. Soon, when they get the mechanism in place, we will have to do a point of sale background check, or pay DOJ to check us ahead of time and issue us an ammo purchase permit which will be good for 2 years (probably). I am waiting for that to extend to powder and primers after i start reloading. We shall see. Thanks for all you do, Paul.
