So glad you found this, and we have many students of all ages who do well 😊! It’s just often a little harder getting a bit older people to be guests, which is why I’m extra grateful when we do!

I go down this rabbit hole every night. Chronic insomnia for 3 years, either can't fall asleep at all , or wake up constantly. Im always exhausted. I have severe anxiety now, and hate when it approaches bed time. I have tried everything, nothing works not even medication. I am exhausted and have to be up at 6am. Tried ambien and lunesta , they don't usually work. God Bless All

Hi Michael, So sorry to hear about all the struggle in these last years. But I’m glad you have found our channel. I think if you spend a little time learning, things can definitely become much easier. One of our core principles is that sleep this effortless so, when we see this, we can see that the more things we have tried, the more it makes sense to us that we haven’t been sleeping well. It’s a bit paradoxical, but I hope it will make more and more sense. Be well and be in touch!

I loved this interview! It was nice hearing Pauline’s story, especially since I am also a classical musician (violinist) by profession and she plays the harp 🎶! She is so calming to listen to. I hope we can hear more from Pauline in the future!

So glad to hear Sarah! We have another classical musician who shared her story, Kamilla from Talking insomnia #94, she’s a pianist. And yes - Pauline will definitely be back soon!

Hi! I heard in one of your videos that tinnitus can be a symptom of insomnia. I too have developed tinnitus since my insomnia started. Do any of your students report that it goes away once they recover from their insomnia?
@thesleepcoachschool8192

Hi! Yes, it is actually very common to experience tinnitus as part of the hyperarousal of Insomnia. When our brain thinks we are in some type of danger, he becomes very aware of things that we haven’t noticed before, like sounds in our ears. And yes, many students share that when the struggle with sleep fades, so too does many other experiences like tinnitus.

I've suffered from insomnia 18 years it all started when I seen that movie about fatal familial insomnia it got in my head and I couldn't get it out. Got hooked on sleeping pills benzos, and now I hardly sleep all even the benzo stopped working! Ambien keeps me up I can function and drive on! ,It It's amazing how one documentary can destroy your whole life I also suffer from anxiety fear phobias and depression.
