oh yeah. the video was voted the best for the last five years (all time pretty much) and Paulo's 2nd segment in the video was voted best of all time too. He had two segments in the video, so this is footage that wasnt good enough for the first TWO segments. Paulo is the man.

The actual vid came out in 2005. Its called Bearded. This is "leftover footage", meaning stuff that didnt get used in the DVD.

thickness and material are other major considerations. it also depends on how skilled a rider you are, as well as where you skim.

@RNKSoccer its always a combination of wave selection, timing, running fast, technique and having the right equipment. Its impossile to say what the probalem might be in our case, but if you work on those things you are bound to improve!

@whispersihearyour Foam will help a lot. A high end board will help even more than that. A high end exile will be even better than that... :) Do yourself a favor and pick up a foam board. It really should help quite a bit.

@ExileSkimboards thnx i have a medium wedge and i sprint as fast as i can, what do i do when i get on the wave do i lean forward while turning on the wave or backwards, when i get a nice ride, after i dont even know what i did

i live in florida and i go to dania beach where the waves can be from 2 feet to about 10 when i go its usually for to six but when in go in to the wave and then i turn but sometimes i can get a realy sick ride but most of the times i sink in to the wave right before it starts to curl or barrel. any tips?

@MrClarkinator22 Most people seem to think they are really bad. I hardly ever see them as they only seem to be sold ont he east coast. No one has them anywhere else. Should be sufficient to learn how to drop the board and such... but if you want to take it further its probably best to get yourself a real board.
