Beautiful restoration of a toy from a much simpler time. My brother and I each had the whole set and we played them into the ground. Not only were we not so sensitive about toys that went 'bang' or 'pop' back then, the powers that be weren't so worried that the symbols which adorned such toys would excite strange ideas in young lads simply having fun 🤷🏼‍♂️ 👏🏻👌🏻👍🏻

Loved the design of this aircraft ever since I got my Cox gas powered model so many years ago. Always wished Junkers could have designed retractable gear to allow it more speed. Sad the 1:1 wreaked so much terror on the innocents by the Nazi war machine. Now you need a Dinky Hurricane or Spitfire in Polish AF markings. You all kicked ass in WWII!

So much work to be done on this Stuka! The canopy project with resin, the tiny wheel hubs, the propellor, the serendipidous pen-tip bomb fabrication...all of these would be a lot! But to fabricate the bomb release piece and spring mechanism from scratch was amazing. The tolerances required to create such a piece were so minute!! A lovely box to hold it as well! You amaze me again, Maestro!!❤❤ Congrats and well done!! Stephen

The unit code W8 is a straight tribute for film "Battle of Britain" (1969). The producers wanted a pair of flyable Stukas, and even converted pair of Percival Proctors to pose as Ju 87 Stukas. Luckily this idea was abandoned and thev used flying RC-models instead. In one Jane's Aircraft book was one Proctor masked as Stuka with unit code W8. Thank you, superb job!!! Пауль классная работа!Мог бы произвести классовый обзор и аннотации..А к чему? Мы словяни потерпевшие от немцев. Это был , на то время, лучший ударный самолёт. Их изобретение.Нам наука. Англичане сделали классную модель. Это данность своему врагу и нам ," пострадавшим", что бы помнили.... Мой двоюродный дед погиб под Варшавой. Его путь начался в 1941 -ом . Это Моя память. Nice to see this! I have this Stuka,in good condition and without the bomb,also the Spitfire Mk1 without the canopy. I also have another happy survivor;the Harrier Jump jet with a missing wing tip wheel. Love watching these restoration projects 👍

Bombardér STUKA byl i psychologická zbraň, díky siréně, která byla v přední části pod vrtulí. Ta vydávala charakteristický ječivý zvuk, který byl děsivý. Děda mi říkal, že se budil strachy ze spaní i 20 let po válce, kdykoli slyšel podobný zvuk. Ale i tak to bylo svým způsobem krásné letadlo. Mír všem. Pavel 🇨🇿

I was always taught light colours first but you seemed to manage OK. Also i thought it was light paint, dark paint, gloss lacquer, decals, matt lacquer. Nevertheless a great fix👍 .

This model was released, along with the Spitfire 1a, as merchandising for the 1968 'Battle Of Britain' movie. Ironically, Stukas only appear briefly in the movie, and portrayed by large Radio-control models, as there were no Ju-87's in flying condition at the time. I had a Dinky Stuka, and was playing with it one day, when the bomb flew off, and went through a window. I doubt I was alone in that happening.😆😆😆

Great restoration, but a question. Why did you only do the underside of the main wings in light blue and not the underside of the fuselage, and tailplane? Was it just to make the job easier or an oversight, or was the original like that. I had one of these as a kid when it was a new release, a Spitfire and a Hurricane too.

I had this one back in the 1970's. I got bored one day and I threw it as hard as I could down and across the rear gardens one day whilst playing with it at the bottom half of the garden, you know, making it "crash". Many years later, an elderly neighbour asked if I could help him cut some branches etc at the side of his garage. There, amongst the branches and leaves was my old Stuka ! I couldn't believe it
