Volkswagen T2 Malteser Hilfsdienst Siku renovation together with a Leyland Lone Star truck.

The hero of today's film is a Volkswagen T2 by Siku, in the medical aid version. I combined the model with a Leyland truck by Lone Star, which can be used to transport damaged vehicles. My Volkswagen had a lot of damage. Among other things, it was missing the side sliding doors. I made them by casting them from polyurethane resin and attaching them to the body by pressing them. The Layland was complete, it only required repainting and refreshing. For both models, I made standard packaging in which they were sold. The film has subtitles, subtitles can be turned on in the settings on your mobile phone, on your desktop computer and on your TV.

Siku isn't a rare brand, at least not here in Germany...Siku in the late 1970's was more detailed than the other common competitioners Matchbox, Hotwheels and Majorette.
