Corgi restoration Volkswagen 1200 Polizei No. 492. Cast model with steered wheels

The Corgi brand gained fame with innovative models in which a lot of parts opened. The lights were made of crystals, and mechanical steering of the front wheels was also introduced. In the Volkswagen model, the blue signal light steered the front wheels. The model I am renovating had paint worn off in the traffic light, cracked tires, damaged decals and a lot of damage from intense fun. I cast the tires in black tinted polyurethane and repaired the engine hatch mount. I painted the Volkswagen in its original dark green color. The fenders painted white were an additional difficulty.
