Thank you Paul! Your videos have helped me change my fathers life. He was going through some really bad sciatic pain that put him completely out of work (he works construction). I had him cut out all the sugars and processed foods and I started him on a strict organic chicken and bone broth soup diet for a couple of weeks, and it literally completely healed him. He was back to hanging Sheetrock within that same month.

I've been eating a meat and fruit diet for some time now. It's unbelievable how good, almost euphoric, I feel. I keep wondering when I'll crash, as that is what I was used to. Feel good when eating a bunch of shit, then crash. But this feeling is consistent. I love it. My workouts have gone through the roof too. So much energy to exercise and I build muscle consistently and don't feel fatigued. It did need some getting used to, when transitioning from a more standard Western diet, but it is well worth it. Thanks Paul! Edit: also my mood. It has improved vastly. I am prone to depression and anxiety and although I still have my bad moments, it has improved significantly, both in lessening of frequency and intensity of the episodes.

On carnivore I used to get leg cramps while sleeping all the time no matter how much sodium or magnesium I had. After adding in fruit I have had no more cramps
@Fritz_P6 ай бұрын
Yes agree, and I always wondered if we are not supposed to eat fruit or honey and only meat (stringent carnivore), why do we have or did we evolve taste buds that crave for sweet things also? I follow the carnivore diet but think we have evolved to eat seasonal fruit & honey also, otherwise we will be like say for example a lion who only craves meat?
@WalkerTom13 күн бұрын
Leg cramps during sleep can often be linked to an imbalance in electrolytes, particularly potassium. While sodium and magnesium are important for muscle function, potassium plays a key role in restoring the resting state of muscle cells and resetting the electrical gradient across the muscle membrane, allowing muscles to relax fully. If your carnivore diet was low in potassium, adding fruit likely corrected the deficiency and reduced your cramps. It’s also important to maintain a proper balance of electrolytes. If the issue is low potassium, adding more sodium without addressing potassium can actually make the imbalance worse, as they need to work together in the right ratio to support muscle and nerve function. Fruits are a great source of potassium, which may explain why they made such a difference for you. :)

I might be wrong about this, but i strongly believe that store bought fruit of any kind is crap. Because most of the fruit in the store are harvest when they are not ripe, so technically the tree does not want you to eat them yet. I strongly believe there is something missing or something that should not be there in pre harvest fruit, even if it ripens naturally on your counter at home. Fruit is a seasonal food that should be harvest and eating fresh from the tree when the time is right.

@@GalaxyOfBoltz if you ask me I would say no for a few reasons. The first being you probably are not consuming copious amounts of CBD oil as you would dietary oil. The second hempseed oil has a 3:1 omega-6:omega-3 ratio which is believed to be ideal. Thirdly, seed oils have shown many positive health outcomes in multiple randomized controlled trials…the reason paul vilifies them is because they dont fit his narrative. Look up Dr.Bill Harris and Dr. Matthew Nagra for some additional information regarding seed oils. I personally believe the reason seed oils are viewed negatively is because they are high sources of omega 6 fatty acids that heavily skew our omega 6 to omega 3 ratio. Many people living in North America (where im from) have ratios like 15-20:1 which is extremely bad for health.

Any idea what is causing this? If I stop eating it within 2 days my BP goes back to normal immediately. I’m so confused and flabbergasted by this lol red meat is such a gift to us all on paper. I’m super healthy 35 year old male, certified personal trainer/nutritionist, able to do HITT style cardio 7 days week no problems alongside of weight training 6 days a week like a beast. I’ve even done straight red meat carnivore for 6 months and had to get on BP medication because of it just so you know I am super strict if need to be. Again thank you for all you do and all the lives you’ve changed with your work! Not currently on BP meds that was two years ago. I’ve just tried to reintroduce it numerous of times with the same results which is insanity I know but I truly believe in all my heart that carnivore/keto is what we are meant to eat and that alone has changed my life and completely got rid of years of depression and anxiety. Also causes indigestion, sluggishness and insomnia alongside the high BP. Sorry for such a long message just can’t get my words out like I can normally when I’m not so confused and pissed off. Have you seen this in anyone else or am I the lone wolf here?

Sorry Paul. But in my personal experience which may or may not be shared by others, even low glycemic fruit like blueberry's and organic honey have a negative effect on my labs/bloodwork, and I gained weight. When I eliminated those things, my labs improved, and the weight started to come back off. Did our ancestors eat things like fruit or honey.. Yes they definitely did. But think about how often that was. It likely didn't happen every day. Which probably should be considered when eating them now. At least for me, they are a treat that I happen upon and I enjoy them, but its only until I get to the next fatty kill. And for all those people that don't question a word you say, I am very active and workout every day. So activity level isn't an issue in regards to carbs and how my body absorbs them. Glad this works for you, and for some. But for myself, and for a lot of others out there. Fruit and honey on a daily cause issues and should probably only be consumed from time to time.

I spend this amount a week for a 3 ppl household and only get top shelf products, if you don't overeat, it's just enough to feed 3 persons a week. We live on 34k annually, no issues.

Dr Paul thank you so much for starting this diet, affectionately named the SOF-MOF diet (Seed Oil Free, Meat Organs Fruit). I wish I could convince my friends that want to lose weight they should eat this way, but they instead choose meal prep services and calorie counting strategies. I am leaner and more energetic than ever, thanks to the SOF-MOF Diet, thanks Dr Paul!

Hi Paul, very interesting. Having discovered lately that I do have food allergies related to pollen which include in fruits: apples, pear, peach, cherry etc… as well as histamine allergy / sensitivity (Orange, bananas, strawberry, grape et…) What kind of fruits would be acceptable on my case ? Thanks a lot for your time, keep up the great content

Paul, I love this series. An idea: animal-based haul while homeless or on-the-go (no means to cook). It seems to be pretty expensive to find ready-cooked meat in America

Going to Trader Joe’s with Paul is basically like going to Disneyland with Debbie Downer lol. Everything you pick up and go to put in your cart 🛒 and to your surprise, he pops out from behind some boxes and tells you any scary story he’s heard about any of the ingredients in it.

But so does water, vegetables, salads. Basically everything can be contaminated by shit ( feces). Especially eggs if your getting farm fresh, my neighbor gives me eggs with shit on it sometimes- i just wash it off before cracking and try my best not to get any shell in the eggs.

I have no doubt in my mind that carbohydrate consumption from fruit, dairy, and honey is both natural and beneficial for most people. As for me, I had to go strict carnivore again due to post-treatment Lyme disease syndrome. It's not clear if I have an active and persistent infection, or if I have an extended autoimmune response, but what is clear is that this is a case in which I should use ketosis and a strict carnivore diet for a hard reset. To those who eat fruit, honey and milk, keep going. Strict carnivore is usually only optimal for those with serious health issues that require even tighter restriction of food.

I used to be a big fan of TJ. But, when I found out their romaine lettuce never rotten even over a month later, I stopped buying veggies except for organic potato & garlic over there. I highly suspicious TJ doesn't inspect which growers are not using Apeel coating strictly. However, their meat's quality is great and much cheaper than Sprout Farmer's Market. Thank you, Paul!

Can someone PLEASE HELP ME. I have severe psoriatic arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. I know Paul says to avoid seed oils and I do but the one I’m Curious about is CBD oil. Is cbd oil bad? Does it count as a seed oil since it’s hemp seed oil? People say it’s anti inflammatory and yet Paul says seed oils ARE inflammatory. Should I consume it or stop???

I wish our TJs was that big. 👍🏼👍🏼 This is interesting. I have seen a lot of opposing research and information from other healthy food experts. While a lot of what you have said, I agree with and have seen consistent (like lowest toxins, closest to nature, etc), so I do appreciate this. Thanks!

I actually have a specific question, so i have a frontal lobe tbi and eating is hard for me, so i blend my food with water. I get about 1.5-3 gallons of water a day since i eat 5 meals, now ironicly that dehydrated me extremely for about a year, so ive had to level out with electrolytes. So my question is will this negatively effect me long term? Btw all i eat (lireral) is chicken, noodles, almond butter, and fruits, i am an avid fitness freak.

Hey paul what do you recommend for someone performing high intensity resistance training? I normally would consume grains so I had a higher carbohydrate load day to day meaning feeling more full. Now even though I consume fruit and honey I’m feeling more flat. Do I double my dose of fruit and honey?

hey paul, I hear fresh cut fruit is sprayed to keep it from going bad, also salads, and the misters in the vegetable areas, of a supermarket.

Paul, I'm transitioning from strict carnivore to adding fruit and honey as of 4 days ago and this morning after eating meat, honey, and mango my blood sugar spiked to 175 and quickly went down. I heard you say that as long as the blood sugar spike lowers quickly it's fine, but 175 feels a bit excessive. Will this get better in more time? To add, it was probably about 75-100g of carbs that I ate.

Hey, try eating your fruit first in the day separate from any fat or protein. Your insulin response will be best in the morning after fasting all night. Fat in the blood blocks insulin receptor sites. Try it out!
