yes, but I expected there to be no wind near Panama, and there was a 6' swell, so I would have been rolling dramatically if hove-to

Dude, you need to take up the cause of saving coral reefs….just watched the documentary on Netflix. 50% of the world coral is dead. You live in the water and on coral reefs, you need to bring more awareness to your viewers and listeners. Bottom line is that rising ocean temps kill coral….lots of people probably think its acidification, but according to this documentary…that is incorrect.

You are right, it is alarming how much coral is dead in the Caribbean. I do address this issue in the sailing nonfiction books that I write.
