I'm really impressed with your patience/discipline. Whenever I play this style of deck I end up casting strands at the wrong time, or spending all of my mana commiting to the board instead of holding interaction up.

@@thatonedudejake thanks, I will say, this deck is very difficult to pilot. This deck’s complexity is one of the biggest factors holding it back. Much easier to ponza or mono red

terminate might be the cut over the cast down, and i noticed you have only 3 black white bridges and 4 red black... seems like that might be reversed. probably want the extra white source vs the extra red since the deck is far more white. cast down over terminate also helps cut the reliance on red for the 4th b/w bridge, esp important post board with dust to dust. I play a lot of three color+ decks and those little optimizations will win games. double color pipped cards in 3 color decks will always get stuck in hand some amount of the time, even single pipped will, best to just streamline it as much as possible, if there is not a compelling reason for the 2 pip over the single pip card. Loved the overlay :) simple thing but makes it much easier to be doing a couple things while watching and still keep up, rather than trying to go back and find the record hidden somewhere in the video. :)

late to dinner seems to make looting better too. I like it a lot. This deck looks so tempting to build in paper since flicker tron (my main deck) is so bad rn but I am trying to finish my cEDH deck and dust to dusts are the same price as a boseiju :(

@@wiloj yeah, maybe 4 dust to dust is the same price as 1 boseiju but that’s the most you’ll have to spend in pauper. Go for it! This deck is super fun

Really nice deck, I think you should for sure include some Siege Smash as you're a graveyard deck and that's a really good answer to relic and nihil spellbomb which everyone is running nowadays

Great content and great explanation of the game as always!!🎉 Due to the big fellas around (like eldrazi and co)..it could be reasonable to replace the palace sentinel with a thorn of the black rose?

@@giacomofurlan5777 thank you! I actually don’t think so, thorn is a certainly a better card, but sentinels flashes back prismatic strands which is a key aspect of the deck to protect your monarch and initiative emblems

This list is gasssss! Witch are the weaker matchups in your oppinion? BTW any chance to see you playing pauper in MTGA? There is a Discord on that, and the formats are crazy fun, you have Historic, Explorer, Standard (witch is huge now) and Vintage (the closest thing to MOL pauper MTGA can get). Cheers!

@@angelibanez1980 weaker match ups are probably combo decks like cycle storm and I think k familiars and even tron combo can be tough. No plans to play arena pauper atm but you never know

Think you could fit a Skoa in here? Not sure exactly what it's solving, but cool way to close out the game quickly with cast + ephemerate being 12 damage that doesn't use the combat step (or sniping 3 creatures for 4 ea). Can looting + dinner to bring it out early too.

Would Stonehorn Dignitary work in this deck? As a sideboard piece maybe against aggro decks or is Strands just better?

I used to have 1-2 stonehorn in boros init, it's good. And in the post league deck tech of the league I just literally just finished, I added one. Good call.

@@MarianoGianni1 thraben charm main is really good, it gives you a prayer against some bad matchups like dredge or cycle storm, it is very versatile.

What do you think of something like blood fountain or voldaren epicure over looting? Both offer smaller looting effects, one gives bringing creatures back but it's harder to cast early the other is a fine blink target in an emergency and a early blocker

I like the idea of blood fountain, but discarding strands to looting can be really, really good. It just hasn't come up that much recently. I would not run epicure - I would play more inspectors before that.

We also have a late to dinner now, which gives way more inevitability than blood fountain since you can keep recurring it with adrent elementalist..

I understand about pitching strands, and the limitations on the other cards. I just feel like the discard two, and draw two feels pretty clunky a lot, so I was thinking of other good options that only loot once, are cheap, and do other things to help the deck. Without other flashback/madness/delve effects looting sometimes feels like it's doing too much looting and not enough other things
