Which is better between tamron 28-75 and this Sigma?
@PavSZ3 жыл бұрын
this seems a little bit sharper and it is smaller and lighter
@TheGeorge9803 жыл бұрын
In my opinion is here to compete with the tamron. The problem is that is not even out, and is a problem because there is no second hand market for this one as there is for the tamron. This one would cost 750 pounds and the tamron second hand you can find it for 600 even less. So if you are in a budget as I am and don’t mind a bit less of sharpens to save a good chunk the tamron. If money if not a problem I would say sigma newer and sharper.
@PavSZ3 жыл бұрын
@@TheGeorge980 no second hand market, yet.
@TheGeorge9803 жыл бұрын
@@PavSZ yes that’s is true in one year probably would the best value without any doubt. But if you need a 28-70 right now maybe the tamron in my opinion. But that’s only if the budget is tight. Because 760 is a very good price for a new lens.

It is kind of pricey but not as pricey as their other lenses. I do video, so this lens, which has surprisingly sticky focus for being an old lens, is great. But yeah I really find it weird Sigma hasn't made a new 50 mm for Sony yet... Photographers are pretty much begging for something new. The Zeiss is not everyone's budget or answer sadly.
