Just checking in to share my experiences. I stumbled across your channel a few weeks ago. It was just one of those random KZbin suggestions. I don't recall the exact video, but it was one of your wine making tutorials. I was like, no way! This is craziness! This is way too simple to work. Boy, was I wrong. I bought some ingredients (Walmart Great Value grape juice, Fleishman bread yeast) and mixed up a batch exactly according to your recipe. (Full disclosure, I've been homebrewing a long long time and I have lots of equipment and gadgets.) I racked the wine three times (two would have been plenty sufficient), added Sparkolloid during the last rack and let it sit for another three weeks. It came out crystal clear, 13.5% ABV and lightly sweet. It's just delicious! Wow! I'm a believer. Thank you for the insight and suggestions. I'll be making another batch this weekend.

Hey pawpaw! I made some regular grape using 1.5 quart of juice and 1 cup of sugar. It’s so good! I do enjoy a dry wine though, like a Cabernet, I might try doing it with 1/2 a cup or 3/4 of a cup of sugar and see what it does. I poured it slow like you said just into some old wine bottles to store it. Very easy to keep it clear and maybe about 4 ounces left at the bottom to throw out. Gorgeous!

I just started a bottle of white cranberries. Can't wait. My last batch I made with a juicer with grapes 🍇 and apples 🍎. Left the crushed skins in. Turned out amazing. Something about the wild yeast on the skins.

I've started my 16th batch in the 29th of january, tried almost all kind of juices available in my area and i know now why you stick to certain kind of juices (grape, apple and cranberry).. They ferment better and doing good in alcool level.. I will try one cup of sugar for the next one caus' someone told me that the wine was a bit too sugary for her taste and i kind of agreed..
