I'm glad you showed us the prices. They're pretty comparable to those in the US. Some of the 1st party Nintendo titles are sometimes on sale for $39.99, but most of the time about $54.99.

The most expensive game I've paid for in recent months was Ocarina of Time for the Gamecube. I spent about 80 for it and it wasn't original case included just disc. I feel in hindsight I should have passed but at least I am having fun playing it lol

Wow, 80 quid disk only that’s harsh - never been a big GC collector and so didn’t know that one was so rare! I recently got the Limited Run version of Quake on PS5 from eBay (don’t usually buy from LR but there are a select few titles I want physically) I was patient and waited for an auction but it was still £53 - when installing it, it flashes up the digital version was on sale for £3.99 - I was thinking did I really need to buy this? 😂 could have added to the ps1 collection or got a Triple A ps5 game.

I get why people spend the money on things they love and remember fondly, but for me personally I just can't justify it! I pop into CEX or the like on occasion and see the stuff in there and get tempted... But then think "I could just get an emulator and save a small fortune..." Game is a shadow of it's former self, now it's been absorbed into Sports Direct I still pop in there virtually every week though

Very cool that 1/24 scale Knight Rider KITT model, it has working scanner light too ;) I think Knight Rider game on modern consoles would be great fun, last one is for PS2, the Knight Rider 2 game by Davilex. After last system update on my Xbox One S, they requested my opinion about Xbox and some feedback, and i used the opportunity to tell that I like the console and would like to still see more physical games available :)

Nice game pick up and some nice sale games there havent been to a game for a very long time i always go cex now just coz i can use the app to trade stuff in so games ant costing me as much coz i pick things up at charity shops/carboots

I was pissed off recently with that - I’d just, for the first time ever, played The Last Of Us part 1 (the remaster came bundled with my PS5) for some reason I’d just never fancied it before, always thought it was a Resident Evil rip off, but obviously it’s amazing. I saw Part 2 on the 3 for 2 deal on ps4 in GAME and was just waiting for pay day to pull the trigger, in the meantime the series came out - they pulled it out of the deal and upped the preowned price from like £12 to £29.99 - absolute tosses 😂 so I abandoned that and just got a steel book version in an eBay auction instead.

@@Dessan01 yeah the offer does change all the time unfortunately and is very dependent to what they have in store, I think my best recently was 3 games for £4, I think, one of them being Gears 5 brand new and sealed!

@@DanTheGamesMan Yeah, it’s hard to be too annoyed - the reason GAME has fallen from the superpower it was in the 90s and early 2000’s is that we all started shopping online. Buying from GAME is a once a year thing for me now, if that (there’s actually a much better independent store local to me that gives PS4 games away, near enough) they are just doing what they need to, to survive. The Last of Us though, wasn’t even subtle, they were just wanting to cash in on people who had just seen the series, but never played the games and wanted them.
