Payable Google Forms - Advanced Email Capabilities

We have added the ability to customize the confirmation email look and feel to match your Google Form styles.
We have also made it possible to set a different reply-to email address for each form and specify multiple administrator emails to be notified of each new order.

QUESTION? On the form view (1:05) On Contact Details: Is this MY details or CUSTOMER details? I can't find a good answer. It appears I can't delete my name after I have put my name? Please advise. Thanks

@@gingeroriginaldesigns - Hey there. The contact details will be the customer or buyers contact information. It is pre-populated with your information only because we save it in a cookie so it does not need to be re-entered each time. So if you completed the form in test mode you will see your contact info pre-populated there. A new customer would see it empty or their contact info.

Do customers not get a confirmation email after purchasing? That's like one of the most important things. I can't seem to find that feature.

Yes, as soon as the form is submitted, an order is created and they will get an email with the order-id and a link to their unique order. Before the order is paid the link and order will show a checkout. After the order is paid the link will show their receipt. If you use PayPal or Stripe as your payment provider, when test-mode is off they will also receive a payment receipt from the payment provider directly.

Hi, I'm confused about the payable screen section "Set Contact Information" - does this need to be filled in by the user? Sometimes I see message "checkout started" where the credit card payment did not complete. I don't know if this email field on the payable screen affects anything. Thanks.

Yes on the checkout page the contact information will be filled out by the buyer. We pass it on the payment provider (PayPal, stripe, square). Checkout Started - Means that the checkout page has been viewed by someone, either you or the buyer, put payment has not yet been completed. help.payableapps.com/en/article/payable-order-status-definitions-p7s92h/

I thought when I required email ‘Responder Input’ on Google form that this email would carry over to the payable form. No?

The email from your form, will go to the spreadsheet, however the first time a user goes through checkout they will re-enter their payment contact information on the checkout itself. After that their contact information is saved in a cookie, and when they come back it will automatically be filled out the next time they come to a checkout page. This is because some payment providers don’t allow us to repopulate the email, without it being entered into the specific checkout page.
