I love that you under budget your paychecks. I have found it's the best way as well. Worst case scenario you know what you may have to do extra, but best case scenario you can be relieved when it's higher. I wish you the best of luck for your financial journey this year! Great Budget video! I love to budget my finances. My non-negotiable are date nights and traveling. This is my reason for budgeting. ESF - emergency. savings fund = Loss of life, loss. of income TURE. emergency STSF short-term saving fund. EX. yearly registration, day to day emergencies, I save for my car insurance(we pay in full every 6 months), car repairs, pet care, etc.co-pays. A good rule of thumb is to get the STSF to one month living expenses and ESF to 90 days or more of monthly expenses Happy budgeting
