[PAYDAY 2] The Big Bank full loot 6-min ECM rush || New highest EXP/min

Whenever you're playing with your crew, or your friends, or in public lobbies, there's always someone in the lobby who wants a heist with a huge experience reward, to get a bit closer to that coveted Infamy XXV. Recently we shared our full stealth Counterfeit strategy, which allows your crew to farm experience while half of your crew takes a break for dinner. However, for 4 heisters actively playing, there are heists with a higher EXP/min ratio, and this is probably the highest one!
There's an experience reward for each bag secured (1,000 per bag, with a total of 21~25 bags), as well as increased experience reward for using the bus escape.
The theoretical maximum experience reward for this heist (4 players, 8 Team Boosts, 25% Stealth bonus, Infamy XXV) is 5,681,250 EXP (in roughly 8 minutes), or 4,292,191 for Infamy XIII (as an example). If you collect the 10 randomly placed Gage packages, there's a small bonus of 70,313 or 53,121, respectively.

3:27 → Vault opens, start moving the loot.
4:49 → Alarm goes off.
5:00 → Moving bags to the safe zone after the bus.
5:24 → EXP breakdown.
5:29 → End screen!

➽ What about SHADOW RAID or CRIME SPREE?
Shadow Raid, a commonly chosen heist for ECM rushing for experience, rewards 22,000 EXP for a 2-3 minute ECM rush.
Big Bank rewards 71,000~75,000 EXP for a 7-9 minute ECM rush.
Even if you rush Shadow Raid thrice in the same time, you'll get less experience and also quickly reach the EXP malus penalty (which goes from -1% to -30% EXP). Thus, Big Bank is more time-efficient, while also being less prone to reaching the EXP malus, and more convenient to combine with an stealth bonus.
Crime Spree will undoubtedly always be the best EXP farming method, due to how the catch-up bonus works. It's a reasonable strategy if you have to raise the CS level by yourself, but with the amount of absurdly high-level public CS lobbies, that's often not done. At some point however, after you get yet another infamy by ECM rushing a quick FBI Server, you start feeling like you're progressing too fast while barely playing the game! But if you like this option, definitely go for it! :)

Back then, I only gave a general response of why it CAN'T be ECM rushed, to avoid spoiling it, only slightly hinting at strategies that may make it possible. My HUD is just a combination of _PocoHud3_ and _Additional PocoHud trackers._ The former is responsible for the ECM timers, as well as the floating timers for drills, time locks, hacks, pagers... (whenever they are present). It also includes other on-screen numbers such as: FPS meter, IRL clock, levels right next to player names, and some numbers for each player which are "Kills | Jokered enemies | Current downs | Maximum downs (before custody)". As for the latter, _Additional PocoHud trackers,_ I mainly use it for the 3.5s countdown before Sixth sense triggers, but it will also show you trackers for all kinds of things (any skill which has a duration or cooldown). Both are highly customizable so everything can be toggled on and off, depending on what you want! if you fully deplete an ammo bag with bulletstorm you get a 15 seconds or 60 seconds (bulletstorm aced) infinite ammo time. found that out while trying to make a route for the fastest full loot solo bank heist. (the biggest problem is how you handle those 4 pagers with 2 ecm's and 2 pockets without dying) like you wanna setup the drill asap but its really hard before managing the guards and especially the camera operator. as you just lose some ecm time you probably could have needed for the guards.

Hey Cipher! Big Bank is an easy one that can be rushed because, being an old map, there are no objectives that become "jammed" when doing an ECM rush. And even though the actual objectives are quite long, having an extra 2 minutes of ECM rush by using pocket ECMs allows you to do something like this. However, newer heists like Hoxton Revenge, Golden Grin Casino... all have an objective that becomes jammed when an ECM is placed, so it's not possible to ECM rush them like this!

@@cipher698 There used to be an old bug in GGC that caused the code pad at the end to not become jammed when using pocket ECMs (which allowed heisters to ECM rush the whole heist), but that was fixed a few months ago! Big Bank however doesn't have anything that jams, so it's very good for rushing :)

Hey Skeetman! My opinion's the same: I love ECM rushing! For this particular heist, the timing in public lobbies is usually a bit tight (some players bring shurikens, throwing knives, cards... so they are limited to just 4 minutes of ECM rush). With 4 players using Hacker perk deck however, there's plenty of time! Glad you liked this ECM rush :D

@@Marcmb Yup, I never do an ECM rush in a public lobby, it never really goes well, I always thought that ECM rushing was a quicker way to get money as you could go through quick missions like Art Gallery and Shadow Raid and get good bank but not get that much experience. With this though it changes the game a lot. Also, I joined your Steam Group sometime ago, I'm always around to play Payday and such as I'm currently grinding towards XXV - 100 so you can always give me a shout.

In public lobbies, unless you find good players, everyone always overlaps their ECMs so you end up with 1 minute of ECM rush from your own ECMs, and 30-40 seconds from the other 6 ECMs combined. But with a little bit of coordination (simply trusting that your teammates will place their ECMs on time) something like this becomes possible :) Good to know what your Steam name is! Otherwise I always have a hard time telling who is who :p You will see that I always send a message through the group chat whenever I'm playing, and everyone is welcome to join! :)

@@Chibibowa Mods help a lot yeah, because you can space out and have a constant reminder of how much time there's left! Back in the day it was a bit trickier to time ECMs (without mod timers) because they would last for 31.25 seconds, which is trickier to optimize to the fullest potential. In current patches however, they last for exactly 30s (making it very easy to just add half a minute to the ingame clock to obtain the time when the ECM will run out) so it's quite easy to time them even without mods! :) In fact, ECM rushing without HUD mods is one of my favorite experiences! But I feel like the videos are more clear with the timers shown.

Hey yooloo gaming! I agree, ECMs are very powerful, especially with pocket ECMs extending a crew's potential ECM rush time by 50%. For this reason, Overkill has been adding devices (time locks, hacks...) that become jammed under the effect of an ECM, so that it's not possible to continue progressing with the objectives. Still, it's a bit risky as a plan A, because any mistake in communication will sometimes be impossible to fix, but very powerful as a plan B (less risk before the rush, only rushing if needed). For this reason, my usual approach in public lobbies is to stealth as far as possible, then ECM rush if things go south. It's definitely a skill worth learning, because these powerful deployables can save many runs!

Hey Glory! That is half correct. They will indeed get down faster by scaring them with gunfire (saw alerts in this case) if you have Stockholm syndrome, because the 3 civs in the room will become alerted simultaneously, so the next gunfire alert will cause all of them to get down (unlike in the video, where they become alerted one by one so I shout at them to get down one by one as well). However, you still have to wait for them to finish their "getting out of the chair" animation, so it wouldn't be immediate either. The reason I can't use the saw to do that here is because it's silenced in case we can get a few extra seconds of not rushing depending on where the door spawns and who is nearby, which is often more convenient. Thus, the alert range of the saw (when not using the blade) is only about 2m, meaning that I have to get so close that I'm more likely to saw the civs in half, rather than intimidate them to get on the ground! As for my HUD, most of my HUD elements are coming from PocoHud3, a HUD mod which is showing the ECM timers, as well as the floating timers for the pagers and time lock, and also other on-screen numbers such as: FPS meter, IRL clock, levels right next to player names, and some numbers for each player which are "Kills | Jokered enemies | Current downs | Maximum downs (before custody)". The mod is very customizable and you can toggle everything on and off, depending on what you want! I also use "Additional PocoHud trackers", mainly for the 3.5s countdown before Sixth sense triggers, but it will also show you trackers for all kinds of things (any skill which has a duration or cooldown). Much like the previous one, everything can be toggled on and off!

Try to open the PocoHud settings menu (by default the key to access that menu should be ` if I remember correctly; but if that doesn't work keep trying other keys until the big menu shows up). Once you are in that menu, you can go to the "General" settings tab, and change the keybinding for the conflicting keys as well as the "Open settings" key. If you want fast quick money do jewel store eminem rush it, only takes like 20 to 30 seconds to complete depending on how many people you have, normal and hard you can do by yourself, other difficulties need 2 or 3 people to do

Hey Remington Frankenstein! It's been a really long time since I did Jewelry Store (it's a very basic heist so I don't play it often, sorry!) so I don't remember how good the payout is! However if you want huge amounts of money in the most time efficient way, you can consider Border Crossing all loot ECM rushing like we show in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rKLOmoKmrb2hZ8U the reward is ~$50M in about 8 minutes, really good!

But it makes sense that, for a low level, something with a decent payout and very low difficulty will be very useful to get some much needed money at the start of their criminal career! Just keep in mind that, as you level up and get used to bigger heists, there will be better options for sure! I would probably solo Election Day Death Sentence (for all the gold at the end) if I wanted some money on a low level account!

Haha, it's not like that! It would be kinda funny if it was, though :) For the reasons you hint at, the bus can only be called after the heist goes loud: that's why we keep it stealthy as long as possible until the loot is in place, then stop the ECM rush. Furthermore, we invest part of our preplanning favors into delaying the assault, to make the loud section as safe and short as possible! Ending the heist with a loud escape increases the XP reward, which is amazing :)

Glad you're enjoying all the content :) I use a few QoL mods like _Prevent Crime Spree loss when crashing,_ _Force Ready,_ and _Preplanning saver,_ but the main ones, which are the only mods you can actually see in my videos, are my HUD mods: a combination of _PocoHud3_ and _Additional PocoHud trackers._ The former is responsible for the ECM timers, as well as the floating timers for drills, time locks, hacks, pagers... (whenever they are present). It also includes other on-screen numbers such as: FPS meter, IRL clock, levels right next to player names, and some numbers for each player which are "Kills | Jokered enemies | Current downs | Maximum downs (before custody)". As for the latter, _Additional PocoHud trackers,_ I mainly use it for the 3.5s countdown before Sixth sense triggers, but it will also show you trackers for all kinds of things (any skill which has a duration or cooldown). Both are highly customizable so everything can be toggled on and off, depending on what you want! The ECM timers are indeed part of the HUD mod that I use, which is _PocoHud3._ The pocket ECM timers (shown in the health circles of each player) are part of the default game, but the timers on the top left are all part of the mod. This same HUD mod also shows floating timers for drills, time locks, hacks... as well as other on-screen numbers such as: FPS meter, IRL clock, levels right next to player names, and some numbers for each player which are "Kills | Jokered enemies | Current downs | Maximum downs (before custody)". Hey APARAT0! The fastest way is definitely Crime Spree, even if you start the spree from 0 and slowly go up, it's the most reliable way to farm those coins. Other than that, I think completing achievements and reaching milestones will also reward you with some coins, and just playing heists with huge XP rewards will give you 1 coin for every 1,000,000 XP.

Hey Bryce! They last for a short amount of time, but you get many of them and they regenerate over time :) Pocket ECMs are actually absolutely necessary for extended ECM rushing, and easily make Hacker the best perk deck for stealth (for extended rushes among other reasons!). If you're playing solo, the pocket ECMs "only" add +20% ECM rush time (from 60 to 72 seconds), but if you're playing with a 4-man crew, you get +50% ECM rush time! (from 4 minutes to 6 minutes)

Thank you! Personally, I never use portable saw. Whenever I bring a saw, I also bring an ammo bag (using Jack of all trades), so having one additional blade isn't too important because I can refill my ammo at any time! This also allows me to take bullet storm aced rather than portable saw, which has its small uses as shown here :) However, I can definitely see it as being a matter of personal preference, so nothing wrong with either option!

Hey Lord Floppa IX! For a good team, ECM rushing heists like these without a HUD would be almost equally easy, you don't really gain much from the HUD. The problem is when you're playing with new/inexperienced lobbies, where heisters often skip or change the lobby order. In those situations, you don't really want to overlap your ECM time with heisters who are ECMing out of order, so having a constant reminder of the current ECM duration helps a lot to avoid that!

Hey retuic! Good point, I have to admit :p but it's actually much easier than it looks! The hardest part is coordinating the pocket ECMs, but if a crew is struggling with that, they can just stealth the first two minutes of the heist (since you "only" gain 2 minutes of ECM rush time by using the pockets), and then start the rush, or stealth as far as possible and start the rush when it goes south. It will still be very quick, and easily the fastest way to farm experience! :D

Definitely bring 2 maxed ECMs for most heists. As for the perk deck, Hacker is usually the best stealth perk deck. The pocket ECM is useful for all situations: for safety, for emergencies... when you're spotted or you kill someone, as soon as you hear a camera beeping, you can place the pocket ECM (it's instant) and take care of the situation (hide bodies, loop cameras...). It's even more useful when you learn some ECM rushing strategies: depending on the number of heisters, this perk deck will give you an extra 25 to 50% extra ECM rush time. (e.g., 6 minutes of ECM rush, as you see in this video)

Hey Akira! Glad you liked the video, thank you! Unfortunately the timing is quite tight with 4 players, so if you're going for all loot, it's unlikely to succeed with less than 4. However, most of the ECM rush time is spent waiting for the time lock to run down (2m30s), so if you're playing with fewer players, you can just stealth the initial time lock objective (kill all civilians and the two guards, if you struggle with those objectives) and then easily ECM rush the whole vault area + all loot, even with less than 4 people :)

@@renan9335 2 players is gonna be a bit trickier if going for all loot (3 players is quite easy, but going down to 2 is more noticeable), but definitely still possible :) For the computer part, I guess you're already doing it, but make sure that the player who's looking for the right computer doesn't mask up until he has located the right computer! After that, hacking it is indeed trickier for the upper floor, but still always doable (without alerting any civs) regardless of where it spawns, especially after a bit of practice :) Good luck, and if you need anything else, feel free to ask!

I think it was abandoned a long time ago :( As for my list of trackers, I'm mainly interested in the Sixth sense tracker, so I disable EVERYTHING except for: *- ECM Jammer* *- ECM Feedback* - Armorer/Anarchist Invulnerability Cooldown (useful for loud if you use these perks) - Aggressive Reload duration - Inspire revive cooldown - Critical Hit chance gauge - Second Wind duration - Up You Go duration - Running From Death move speed boost duration *- Sixth sense initial delay* *- Bulletstorm duration* - Smoker

Hey suyantono! You could absolutely do that, yes! But what would your objective be? You don't gain much (if anything) from doing that, and it has a few disadvantages...!

@@Marcmb so you dont have to deal with the pagers as when they appear you have to answer them no matter even with ecm but if they are kept alive the radios can be cancelled anytime with ecm but this is just my thought and i would like to hear yours too

@@suyantonochen7012 Ooh that's what you meant! You don't have to worry about that at all. Fully upgraded ECMs delay pagers too, just like they block cameras and phones. Pagers will only activate if you mess up the ECM chain and there's downtime between 2 ECMs, but that's just as risky if they are alive, as their phone calls can go through during the ECM downtime.

They absolutely have! Many things that used to be impossible, are now possible with a bit of coordination. But I think that's great! More options and more replayability are always a good thing :)

@@Marcmb ye it's definitely a good thing. It's not exactly a cheat because it requires a lot more coordination than a normal ECM rush, which already needs good communication.

ECM rushing in general is really fun because of the coordination it requires, the speed of the objectives, and the constant risk of the whole strategy falling apart if someone messes up. Pocket ECMs share all those aspects too, while increasing the coordination required, as well as the risk (because rushing for longer has a higher chance of one mistake happening).

Hey iron! Just the 1st one would be enough for stealth, because it unlocks the pocket ECM for you to use. The 4th one however, is very important too, because it gives you +45% experience (additive bonus) at the end of any heist. Those perk points are very cheap to get (you obtain them as you earn experience by playing heists) so aim to get the full hacker perk deck when possible!

What are you using to show the ecm timer

Hey jose valdez! That's Pocohud3, a HUD mod which is showing the floating timers for the pagers, time locks, as well as the timers for ECMs. It also shows other on-screen numbers such as: FPS meter, IRL clock, levels right next to player names, and some numbers for each player which are "Kills | Jokered enemies | Current downs | Maximum downs (before custody)". The mod is very customizable and you can toggle everything on and off, depending on what you want! Recently I also installed "Additional PocoHUD trackers" because I like the 3.5s countdown before Sixth sense triggers!

Hey Fernando! I'm not sure I understand, sorry! You mean the weapon team boosts? Those boosts can be bought with continental coins and equipped to your weapon, granting everyone in your team a +3% bonus in money and EXP (4 players, 2 weapons each = 8 boosts maximum, for a +24% bonus).

Hey there! Crime Spree will undoubtedly always be the best EXP farming method, due to how the catch-up bonus works. If players had to raise their CS level by themselves, it would be a reasonably fast strategy, but considering the amount of public high-level CS lobbies, that's usually skipped. However, at some point you may start feeling like you're progressing too fast (getting a full level for a single ECM rush can feel a bit unfair sometimes), so if you want to level up using vanilla options, then this is probably the highest! Some numbers since you mentioned Cook Off: securing one bag in Cook Off will reward you with 8,000 experience, which takes about 2 to 5 minutes depending on Bain's RNG speed (let's say 3.5 minutes average). On the other hand, Big Bank with this method rewards you with 71,000 to 75,000, in roughly 8 minutes. You can probably already see why Big Bank is much faster than Cook Off!

Hey Cameron! Very simple :) ECMs and Pocket ECMs disable cameras and phones, allowing you to rush through a heist without worrying about them. When fully upgraded, they will also delay pagers as long as an ECM is active, allowing you to kill the guards during that rush too. Thus, the only thing you need is some coordination when chaining the ECMs (2 per player), and you have up to 4 minutes to rush the entire heist, or some section of it, allowing you to progress significantly before the assault arrives. You can also get an additional 2 minutes (total of 6) if everyone is using the Hacker perk deck, for the Pocket ECMs.

Marcmb thanks for the detailed response! I’m guessing ECM rushing isn’t something you’re really meant to do solo then. Is there any heists you’d recommend for an easy ECM rush? I was wondering about car shop but that seems like something that may not be efficient due to the point of no return.

@@CamarilloCraze That's true, solo ECM rushing is much more complicated... you don't really have a lot of time, so it's mainly something that you do if you mess up at the very end, to have an extra minute of time to complete objectives or secure loot (and ideally escape) before it goes loud. For crew ECM rushing, I definitely recommend Shadow Raid -- very straightforward, simple and good to practice. Different loot sections that players can loot separately, so no coordination is required other than to place the ECMs in the correct order. Solo ECM rushing, as mentioned, is much trickier, but good options to practice that would be Election Day (see kzbin.info/www/bejne/boTUen2omb9qrJI ), or GO Bank.

@@rukano99 That has never happened to me, but some players have reported huge FPS drops in Big Bank when playing with team AI (bots) on, especially when looking in their general direction. Try disabling the AI, and see if that fixes it!

I'm not sure! Does PS have the "Hacker" perk deck? If you do, then yes! Because everything we need for this are ECMs, and pocket ECMs; and the heist objectives are the same in PC and PS versions, so "Hacker" perk deck is the only requirement!
