I would say Hoxton is infamous for me cuz he’s like the only British heister and has some of the best lines

I actually kinda like the fact that Dallas' special kill voice lines are so dismissive. It shows that he's been doing this shit for way too long. His comms wheel voice lines are the best part though. I think all 4 original PDTH heisters remain easy S tier. Especially Hoxton, who's so good we had to basically fight to have him back in PD2. Sure, he's a little more subdued in 3. But I feel that's kind of the general direction for PD3 compared to how crazy 2 got later in its cycle. That, and "SNIPER NOOO SNIPING!" lands him there anyway.

Love how all the heisters have their own unique poses and animations in the menus, Chains just looks like a giant with his hunched down stance, Wolf is scary and insane with his forward leaning tilted head looking with his stance

well thought out list. glad you elaborated your reasons for each tier instead of just placing them like a lot of other tier lists. seeing joy low is cathartic because I have a friend who has basically only played joy since she came out and it's good to see I'm not the only one who just finds her really weird and out of place in both games. The list is basically the exact same as what I would have ranked them (besides maybe swapping wolf and clover, because wolf has been my main guy ever since I started with the payday franchise and I'm biased.) Great video!

My order is Hoxton, Chains, Wolf, Houston. Wolf and chains are interchangeable wolfs outfit is so cool I want it on every character. That’s mostly why I use him. Chains is great but Hoxton is number 1 for me. We’re both English so there’s my reason. His outfit is also unreal

I actually feel like Joys character changes are pretty well done. I may be hyping it up just because PD2 Joy just wasn’t good but I always felt like it’s pretty realistic for Joy to still like the stuff she likes and referencing it but has grown out of being a cringe shitlord type of character and not making it her ENTIRE personality. Also I love the tiny details on Wolf, they glitched it out this update but he usually is twitching randomly in his menu poses and his eyes while unmasked are constantly scanning the room like he’s freaking out and about to have an episode.

honestly I'm a bit biased for joy but I'd say she's b tier just because of where she came from, she went from "5 points, 10 points, 5 points, 5 points, 5 points" to not as annoying (I do kinda wish they made her go full gremlin or full serious instead of semi serious, I've got a jimmy shaped hole in my heart and full gamer rage joy could've fixed that)

I really hope they add another Latino heister that is South american. Sangres is cool and all, but after a while, his stereotypical accent got annoying. After seeing the number of chilean and argentinian people being happy they were mentioned in one of the dragan files videos. I feel it might be possible.

Pearl as a new addition to the Payday gang surprised me. Sure, her introduction seemed a bit hasty, but she has grown on me quite quickly. As for her outfit, while a hot take, I can see it as some sort blend between the Street Urban look while the White Leather somehow adds that 'premium' look at some point. But again, just a humble opinion. I also like the actress' performance with her, she may become a favorite of mine quite soon!

Gotta agree with the Stillted opinion on some of the characters. A lot of the characters feel like they had odd directon. Dallas was a loudmouth confident guy in PD2. Hoxton in the PDTH and PD2 day was just a pure prick. They feel slightly watered down here and the delivery's of the lines are in my opinion just feel generic. Playing Hoxton to Dallas to Pearl just all kinda feels the same to me. To give some credit though it has been a long time since PD2 and PDTH. The voice can only take so much. They're amazing actors I just doubt they have the stamina they did all those years back and thats okay! It's still amazing they came back for there roles.

I still find a lot of enjoyment in playing the classic characters, but some of their lines are definitely weird. I don't consider any of them to be bad heisters either, some are just more entertaining than others.

Look visually they knocked Wolf out of the park and I'm glad he can finally remember Joy's name, but I can't get over how strange the new VO sounds. He was always Ulf's self insert with Ulf's weird goofy voice acting, breaking out into song and shitting his pants at every single special encounter and speaking in like 3 different comedy impressions. He was paranoid and anxious and slightly bumbling and it feels a lot more fitting for a software dev deciding to take up arms because now he's just Swedish Vaas. If they've well and truly burned their bridges with Ulf since the Medi Incident they should've just brought back Sokol or Dragan as an actual heister and had Wolf contract or be killed off as stakes for the plot or something

A heist tier list sounds pretty good, I'll probably do that once the server browser is out so I can find games for stealth and loud. I've thought about doing a Payday 2 heister tier list, I'll do it eventually but it will definitely take much longer to make with how many heisters there are.

Houston and clover became my favorite and I’m hoping we get dragon because just watching the dragon files I all ready love dragon, and for the well heister that were crossovers I hope we get all of them, I want to be able to play as jimmy, also about the switch 12:31 I think payday 3 might be on the switch 2 since it will be more powerful
