@@Dillyj8 The update releases at the same time for everyone. It’s just that the UK is further ahead than the US so for us it’s already the 26th. All that means is that when the update released, it’ll likely be early afternoon in US but later in the afternoon in the UK.

payday 3 has had one of the worst game launches in history considering how well its previous game did. Currently, there are 44,000 reviews on steam, and an active playerbase of less than 500. that's how much people hate this game. Even when the game starts to get good people will still hate on it because of how bad it used to be. it is going to take a long ass time for this game to become what payday 2 is AND win back their original players

@@theamazingpoposhow Unfortunately yeah, payday 3 had an abysmal launch and because of that, It’s got a lot of catching up to do. It’s a shame that some people will continue to hate on the game even when it gets better just because of how it started. But there’s nothing anyone can do about that. Payday 3 is far away from being what Payday 2 is. But I actually don’t think they’re far from winning back a chunk of their original player base. A couple of good, content rich updates and I could see player numbers growing a lot over the next few months. Given the current state of Payday 2 on consoles, I wouldn’t be surprised if PD3s console player base is already larger than PD2s. But obviously we have no numbers for that.

If it doesn't have heist variation between replays then the player count will drop as fast as it did every other update.

Yes, This heist really needs some serious variety and I’m hoping that Starbreeze can deliver. I don’t know if I agree that the player numbers would drop ‘just as fast’ as they have every other update. This is the biggest update that we’ve had in six months, it’s going to get a lot of people to try the game again. Given how far the game has come since it’s last DLC it’s likely that more people will stay for longer this time. Especially considering some of the biggest complaints from launch, being the progression and lack of any way to play off-line have been addressed. Pair that with the fact we know we’re getting 2 more DLCs before September and I think there’s a real chance for the numbers to stay up a bit. - We’ll continue to grow from there.

I think, if Paydat 3 release under a different name then it wouldn’t have seen as much criticism as it did (except for everything related to server issues and general non-content related issues). Because it was a sequel to Payday 2 the ball was very high. I don’t know if I would personally say it was ‘great’ at launch, but I definitely really enjoyed it.

But I’m no game developer and I know it’s really difficult to program a game these days like payday 3. I give a lot of credit to the game developers that made the game possible and how fun it is every update the team releases. I’m so hyped for the boys in blue!

They need to fix the c-stacks. This is 2 weeks my c-stacks have not updated. So weekly mask i've missed out on, I get they will come to the game but I'm blocked anything c-stacks on ps5

Just watch till Boys in Blue adds nothing but 1 heist, some guns and 2 characters (including OG one from PD2 and a new one), just like it was with previous DLC, check out new progression system which will just speed up the C-Cash farm, and than buy Crime Boss: Rockay City while its still has sale.
