NOTE: At the time of this achievement, the ABC Bud Light Masters was not considered an officially sanctioned PBA event, so Jason Queen was not credited with an official PBA TV 300 at that time. In May of 2008, the PBA retroactively upgraded all Masters events to official status for all PBA bowler statistics, so Queen's TV 300 was recognized at that point. Since eight other TV 300's had been achieved since Queen's 300, those 300's, which were originally announced as the 11th through 17th TV 300's, were shifted one step back and have become the 12th through 18th TV 300's. That is why, if you view those 300's, you will see the announcer state the earlier number (ie, Steve Hoskins' TV 300 was originally announced the 11th but is actually the 12th, etc.). Hope this is clear.

Thanks @Michael R - but it's not totally clear. I've kept a list of televised 300s and Jason Queen is not on it. I've got Chris Via's 300 game from June 2021 numbered #32, which is what the PBA announced. I appreciate your effort - I am criticizing the PBA for not getting it straightened out. They have a website that should have a lot of history, but they've failed to use it. I believe my list can be seen at: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:PKT/300games

I crossed with Bobby Fleetwood once in an Eastern Regional tournament back in the 1980's. Very nice guy. I was a virtual nobody and he was someone I had seen on TV before. As I recall he struggled a great deal with the conditions that weekend, but not a word of complaint - no attitude, very friendly to a nobody regional pro like me.

I preferred the Black one. Hammer 3D Tour Offset. Mine broke between the finger holes, and I never was able to find a replacement. I knew I should’ve bought 3 or 4 instead of 1. I also shot 4 of my 300’s with it as well. Best ball Hammer ever made.

Hammer High-Rev 3D Offset! I remember, a few months ago, Jeremy Hurshman set a house-record series at Royal Crest Lanes (my home center) throwing one of those with a pin-down layout. 266, 300, and 299 for an 865 series; 34 out of 36 strikes. Every single one was a pocket hit. The only open frame was a pocket 7-10 in the 4th frame of his first game.

Imagine how crushing it would feel if this guy somehow were able to know that he'd already lost the match just 5 seconds after his first ball rolled off his fingertips.
@troymeredith5215 жыл бұрын
I don't think I have ever seen someone bowl a 300 in that style of just essentially rolling it straight to the pocket. Those are usually strife with stone 7 or 10, depending which handed bowler you are.
@gabegilbert10432 жыл бұрын
Would bowlers not consider that a slight hook? Or am I watching the wrong bowler? @Troy Meredith

This TV 300 wasn't officially sanctioned as a PBA TV 300 until 2008, eleven years after the event, when all Masters events were grandfathered in to be official PBA events.

Is this the one that didn't count as a PBA 300 game for a long time? Several of the ones after this, the announcers say 1 number lower than the number it is named on YT.

My third Bowler on my Wednesday night league team throws very similar to Jason. We're only five weeks in and he already has 27 ten pins he hardly ever gets carry. Jason had some seriously good carry here alot of those shots could've easily left the ten, but the six wasn't having it. I give him credit though I could never play in tight like that.

No bonus for a perfect game on TV cause he didn't have the right sponsor? What a joke. The PBA should have been paying this, not the sponsors, even today they should be paying it. The PBA isn't what it used to be and it's funny because years ago the pros made way more than they do today and today we have so much more in funding from sponsors and ads and so much more money put into bowling yet the bowlers get fuck all. Makes you wonder. At least it makes me wonder anyway.

This wasn’t a PBA event as it was taking place. When the ABC/USBC Masters did become recognized as a PBA major, previous tournaments were retroactively added to the record books.
