I just recently bowled my first 300 game in my league and yes I was nervous and won’t deny that. Once you get the first one down the next will come in a matter of time. Don’t give up on that dream.

@@rodneybenbow1787 Yep! I rolled my first 300 when I was 15 bowling at Samstown Casino in Las Vegas. I was there for a national junior invitational tournament. I was shaking like crazy. After that it wasn't long until my next. I have 5 under my belt. The last time I came close was in 2003. I hadn't rolled one in a while so I looked up at the pins just as I was releasing the ball. I ended up pulling my shot 2 boards left. I ended up beaking my shot for a 298. DOH! LoL, that's if you even care. I mainly commented to tell you that you're right with once you get the first, others will come if you stick to it.

Any legit bowlers out there ?? Where can I get my own bowling ball ? I recently went bowling at my local bowling arena . And I didn’t mind it at all .. actually really enjoyed it . Only thing is some of the balls were either to heavy or to light .. or my fingers wouldn’t fit etc etc ... how do I go about this ?? Thanks !!

I get mine at pro shops. You can usually find them in a bowling alley, but not all have one

You can also go to Amazon and get a ball without holes and the right weight, and then get it drilled at a bowling pro shop to fit your hand. Not only will it fit your hand and then it will also feel a bit lighter since it actually fits your hand.

I am surprised Norm carried the 10 pin in that first final ball. It was light in the pocket. Also the second ball did not seem to have enough angle into the pocket but that 10 pin fell again. His last ball was a dead ringer blowout. Funny how the 10 pin was the last to fall in all three of his rolls.

Way harder to shoot a 300 in this format. Long waits between your two frames, and five frames worth of lane breakdown without being able to observe it gradually with your own shots. Much harder to get into any kind of personal groove. You have to pay a lot more attention to what the lanes are doing with your teammates' shots to make adjustments, as opposed to just your own ball reaction.
