Belmonte vs. Ciminelli. Possibly one of the best PBA matches I've ever seen. 3 split conversions in a row in the matchup, starting at 18:20!
@coasterfreak04719 жыл бұрын
I appreciate how Belmonte is such a good sport to bowlers that don't have as much experience as him. :)

I'm quite shocked that the PBA itself released this so soon on KZbin.

Actually using 2hands makes it less likely for injury and increases longevity, 2h is easier to hold weight and realese, you dont know wtf yer talking about

+stillrob420 actually when you two hand you are putting a lot more torque on your back. Belmonte has actually had back problems before

Bowling is the most enjoyable sport to watch. Its a shame its not on TV more. I should say, one on one bowling that is, not team bowling.
@Kenoji810 жыл бұрын
I enjoy singles bowling as well. Such exhilaration when you see people come back from a deficit or get really close in match play. That Belmo v. Haugen match was intense.

Maybe it's just me, but the term "sport" has changed so much that pretty much anything with a popular following is a sport. What makes bowling a sport, but billiards, food eating contests, or cup stacking not?
@iconredesign8 жыл бұрын
+Randomguynumber39291 Uh, physical endurance over 20+ games every round in tournaments, use of equipment and constant adjustments, overcoming pressure and make good shots? Just because the players doesn't run around doesn't mean it's not a sport. Stop being ignorant.
@Randomguynumber392918 жыл бұрын
If anything, you're being ignorant. "Overcoming pressure and making good shots" can be applied to any competitive activity. What does equipment have to do with anything? Yes, bowling is difficult. But it's not like anybody has the technique and ability to eat 50 hot dogs in a short time. Or solve a Rubik's cube the fastest (and I'm not talking about the simple 3x3 ones). You're the one disregarding these other difficult competitions.

What an awesome player Belmonte is. Wonder how much he gets paid to wear that shirt :)
@RayJacksonbighmw10 жыл бұрын
I don't know but even if you can't bowl like him, you can still wear the same awesome jersey as he does, they're all available through the good folks at High 5 Gear (dot) com. High 5 Gear makes all the jerseys the PBA players wear on TV and Tournament proper, and you can probably get one similar or even custom to look exactly like the same one he's wearing here.
@jefaw8210 жыл бұрын
I hope he gets paid and it was provided too because those PBA shirts retail for around 90 bucks... and that's on the cheap end!
@ericmharper9 жыл бұрын
Also, Ciminelli did not "slap the 10" in his second shot, he is a lefty....he slapped the 7. Why the hell is Mike J allowed to commentate?
@RayJacksonbighmw10 жыл бұрын
Before Tom Daugherty, Jason Belmonte, or Osku Palermaa, there was Mike Miller, the only difference is, Mike Miller shot a 300 on TV (1999, National Bowling Stadium Open) and Tom Daugherty bowled a 100 on TV (2011, TOC), but if it weren't for Mike Miller, there probably would be no Tom Daugherty or even no Jason Belmonte or Osku Palermaa on Tour, all 3 pf those players also won and their styles, much like Mike Miller's, are all proven to be effective enough to win titles (and majors at that)
@gamemeister2710 жыл бұрын
There were no thumbers before Mike Miller that were successful I believe, it's been around a very long time.
@NewOrleansSaints92210 жыл бұрын
Belmo shot 300 on tv too...and I've seen Mike Miller. he was thumbless but one handed and not 2 handed, so you can't say there probably would be Bellmo or Osku b/c the 2 handed style is very different (and obviously more effective considering the Mike Miller only won 3 titles)
