Only difference is the number of ‘tiles’- HHD has quarter-tiles while NL has whole. Think instead of 8x8 rooms (NL), it’s 16x16 rooms (HHD). I really would like for the quarter-tiles to be in the Switch version- opens up a lot of possibilities for decorating, along with ceiling decor, rugs, and just a bunch of the other stuff HHD brought in.

Those "wavy cats" are called maneki-neko (beckoning cat) and they are Japanese and are a symbol for beckoning wealth, good fortune, etc. If it helps you remember where they come from just think of Meowth from Pokemon which is a Japanese game. He is basically a live maneki-neko with his charm that looks similar to the coins they have and his special move Pay Day which gives you more money.

Some tips: - You can sell things 3 times the value of things to villager through Retail, but not over 9999 bells. So fossils sell from 9000 to 9999 bells. Tropical fruits are also good to sell them in bunch of 6. Force the villager toward your items in Retail. Also buy everything, and try to fill every spot. - Running on grass wear them out (less than City Folks, but still). Plant flowers everywhere, to force you walking. Also flowers help regrow grass. You could also grow hybrids, while you're at it. - Talk to Sable everyday. - Don't forget that fortune cookie cost Play Coins.

Animal Crossing Switch wishlist: Be able to customize your town more. Having a characters house pop up and ruin your towns plan is the worst. More activities to participate in so that once you’re done with your “chores”, there’s still more to stick around for. A calendar and alert system through Nintendo app that reminds you about upcoming events and schedules (Holidays, tournaments and turnip vendor arrival). I always miss those because I forget.

I'm a bit behind on videos but I think it would be really cool to have jobs in the game. Sort of like how you can work for Brewster but maybe for the other shops, heck it would be really cool to open your own shop! I think it would be a cool way to give opportunities to get more bells and to also have more things to do in the game. Like the shops could be minigames. It would be cool if you chose to work at a certain shop for a bit and you learn more about the shop owners too and maybe get little cutscenes? I think it could still keep that animal crossing charm but just make it optional so that way if no one wanted to play that way they didn't have to.

They could have a thing where the person who owns the shop that upgrades the house has a cousin/sibling who comes in after a while who you can pay to move things around for you either based off presets and/or giving you a thing that lets you set things like Happy Home Designer to show them where you want things placed and it will fade out and back in with the new layout, tell you it'll take some time where you can't enter your house for, or you can watch him physically move everything around
