@Rick K all paintball guns have the ability to be accurate or have a high rate of fire. Accuracy depends on air efficiency, and ball to barrel size. Rate of fire depends on your fingering technique, hopper feed rate and your markers trigger(mechanical or electric) But with practice, a decent barrel and the right paint even mechanical marker can fire 10 or more balls a second accurately 😎👍

The frozen paintball clip. So true. My dad used to run a paintball course in upstate New York. Frozen paintball were completely useless, at least they were 15 years ago. More often than not they'd just shatter in the barrel after being shot. During the cold winters I think he had to buy special paintballs to be able to even play games.

I used to get a lot of questions about how fast my marker could shoot and people either calling me for their team or not wanting to play against me or not wanting their kids to play against me because i looked more prepared than i was actually good at paintball. I just invested in buying my own gear early on rather than waste money on rentals over and over again. I promise I won't overshoot your 10 year old birthday boy. In fact just to reassure them i stopped even carrying pods, sometimes started a match with half a hopper.

Creepernic27 Nicolas paintball and airs off serve two different markets in my opinion. Air soft players are very mil-sim oriented and tactical while paintball players like a little bit more variety in their games and more fast paced action.

Cheesedman Place near me has a sniper paintball gun that they handmade and give out to people on there birthdays. (They have to schedule a birthday party) The only down side of it is you can only use it on specific fields and you have to have a ref with you to confirm your the suggested distance away from other people

You missed my newbie mistake: Paintballs were falling off at about ten feet, so I went to the guy behind the counter and asked what was wrong. Without even breaking eye-contact, he grabbed the gun, twisted the tank about a half-turn, and handed it back, to me. I think he has some experience with idiots like me, lol. Same day, I wasn't paying attention to my ammo hopper, it went empty without me noticing, and it took the ref calling from the side "Think you're empty, bud!" for me to realize I'd been dry-firing for quite a while.

"Is there any way to make my gun shoot more powerful?" ... uh, yeah. If I learned anything from Tim Allen, it's that anything can be more powerful. Now, "can" and "should" is the eternal question, apparently a premise worthy of exploration through 8 seasons. Paintball markers are only supposed to fire within a certain range of speeds so it's safe (280-300 fps). Something about changing the length of the springs. Paintballs themselves also come rated for different weather conditions. You can make the marker more or less powerful, but you're not supposed to, assuming you intend to play with human players and not hardcore Mandalorian cosplayers or potato cannon enthusiasts. I've heard of paintball tinkerers cranking their speeds up to 500 fps, but apparently it's possible to go up to 677 fps.

Random Savagery There's Scary Creek. I've never been there and the reviews for that place have always been mixed (here's a grain of salt for when you read reviews by paintballers in case you don't have some handy). But they've been in business for as long as I remember... way before I started playing. Must be doing something ok.

Everyone says they or their friend shot frozen paintballs at someone. They never realize how paint actually reacts to cold.

When my sister went paintballing for the first time she had me shoot here a couple times with my marker so she knew what to expect. I also had her bite a paintball so she would know how it tastes and that it's totally harmless. She had a blast and came back with the welts to prove it
