We got like 2 half-decent games, Killing Floor and Level Zero. One of those will most likely be a disaster because Tripwire loves releasing half-finished games and then firing their developers.

And I can point out a few other games that suffered that phenomenon too in the Pc gaming show.

Fun fact, Ale Abbot is actually a fairly realistic game concept, as a large number of monasteries produced craft ales and beers throughout history. This came as a result to the techniques and skills needed to create communion wine being passed down through centuries and adapted through experimentation and research, with monks often being able to trade fine ales for food or needed materials for their crafts, especially the Benedictines who followed the practice of "Ora et labora" or "Prayer and Labor". It was such a well regarded and key industry for monastic communities that ales were often certified by local Churches in taverns. Back in the day, alcohol content was very low with the exception of only the most expensive and prestigious drinks, so drunkenness was actually not as common as one may at first think, with the amount needed to get one drunk being enough to fall under "gluttony", which was punished by being put in a barrel suit for a day. Game looks pretty cool.

@@KevinUchihaOG Most of the good Console games are in fact First PC games. Doom, Witcher, Skyrim, fallouts, also Baldurs gates. Without mentioning the games that console are not good design for: strategy games, total war, and well all the RTS genre.

@@underpowergaming Yeah, well Skyrim is almost 15 years old. There are no AAA rts games anymore, only Total War (which is a turn based mixed with RTS). Doom dark ages got announced at microsoft's game show. Since its a "microsoft" show and not a "xbox" show i think more game companies opt for announcing at the microsoft show instead of the "PC gamer magazine" show. Microsoft got more money and publicitiy, and announcing at the microsoft show will announce for PC and console at the same time instead of just PC. There are not many AAA companies that prioritise the PC version. If they have an idea for a game mechanic that they discover is hard to do with a game controller: then they will remove that game mechanic. The PC version is never the primary target for AAA games (with some limitied exceptions like Baldurs gate).

Although I felt like falling asleep more than once watching this, it still reminds me that I am looking forward to Shin Megami Tensei V this Friday, Palworld on the 27th, Trails Through Daybreak July 5th and Ys X this fall.
