@Aukerai
@Aukerai 10 жыл бұрын
William Kendrick You purchase a pop filter, and place it in front of your microphone, taking care that it doesn't touch the microphone (otherwise some vibrations will be transferred, lessening the effect). It's not hard. If you want to ghetto it, a piece of stocking or pantyhose stretched over say - a cardboard tube that's bigger than the surface area of the mic does the trick almost as well as a professional solution. All it does is deaden the explosive air pressure of puh, buh, etc sounds, so that it doesn't cause clipping. This is because a microphone's diaphragm is a sensitive mechanical device that vibrates back and forth. (this is even more so the case with condenser microphones than dynamic microphones) the cloth windshield covering a microphone (this is present on say, the Shure SM-58, although that uses a metal windshield) is not enough to prevent all popping sounds, and is mainly designed for it's namesake, to prevent wind from interfering with the sound. It also protects the mic by preventing saliva from reaching the microphone, which is typically slightly corrosive, and damaging to a microphone. )

Right? You can technically stick a 3950X in a mini ITX AM4 board and then bam, you have a 16 core 32 thread ITX machine. That said, you should probably have a bit more room for such a beastly CPU.

And is there much in the way of limitations? Just from what i saw it liiks like you cant put as much ram or expansions into a matx, but as far as i know all i need minimally is 2 ram ports a video card port and a wifi card port. I just dont want to get a board and realize it doesnt have enough slots for gaming stuff

I am decreasing sizes of my computers. When I just started my computer-upgrading hobby, I always bought ATX boards and large cases. A couple of years ago I switched to mATX (shame on AMD for not having them with AM3+ socket). I think the next upgrade might be mini-ITX, if I will be able to pick a good enough case+cooling combo for overclocking.

danvar249 Thanks for the tip, but I've just upgraded one of the two my PCs recently. I don't think I'm gonna upgrade any more this year, and next year more things will come out. And I have a really bad feeling about Corsair after the crappy H100i I have currently. Also planning to build a NAS this year in Fractal Design Node 304 mini ITX case, that should be interesting.

For me, if i want to build an itx pc, i want it sit next to the tv and stream games from my big pc. I think nebula does look better for that. If I want to build an itx pc for actual gaming pc, then 250d is better since it can handle water cooler and bigger graphics card. It really depends on the purpose and personal taste actually. Cooler Master make nice itx cases too. I ordered the CM Elite 110 just under $50 for my itx build since no nebula can be found in my area. Best thing about this case, I can put a seidon 120v in it to cool my A8 6600K

LOL, not everyone want to put 2 GPU on their Computer. Even one GTX 980Ti is enough to play all new game in 4k res. at high detail. Also, there are so many ITX case that can fit up to 30 cm GPU size like GTX 980Ti

jdude99lolz It's not the same, 170 mm squared, means that u square 170, which is 170² or in simpler terms, 170 x 170, and 170 square-millimetres is 170 mm², which refers the unit of measurement, its two different things, see.

For someone that is currently learning and a total dummies, I really hope that you'd put a in-video captions or an actual subtitle for people with auditory-based learning problem and more of a visual-learner. My head is experiencing overheating with the auto-generated cc alone. This is so hard for me.

I use a micro ATX board in standard ATX case. I have installed my 2 slot video card in the bottom slot. So I it does not block a slot. I know my video card only runs at 8x, but I don't think it mattes much.(Define R3, Z87M-G43, i5-4670, HD5870)

Thanks for the continues information you shared. I watched all you videos mostly at your Linus Techtips channel.. And i built my 1st Gaming and CAD designing PC because of that last 2013. I'm planning to build again another one this year primarily for 3Ds max rendering of my Architectural projects. I'm looking for a bang for the buck GPU meant for the 3ds Max Software and found out that Firepro and Quadro are the best choices for that particular platform but the better one is too expensive for me right now.

Linus, your ideal board, the Asus P9X79E-WS, is a CEB form factor. Thanks to you this board is now the base of my new CAD station. Only a handful of cases say that they support this and the other obscure form factors. Since the CEB is based on a mix of ATX and EEB form factors could you install a CEB board in an ATX case like the Corsair 750D or the NZXT 820?

Hey Linus When you showed the eATX board being 330mm wide you had an standard ATX board on the screen with a dimension of 244mm. This was at 4:05 into the video. I only sya this as I have never seen an eATX board and was interested in the graphic.
